Former presidential candidate John Edwards is said to be ready to admit that he fathered a love child. But Hades may have a skating rink before his wife, Elizabeth, signs off on such a confession.
As a grand jury in North Carolina considers whether Edwards misused campaign funds to cover up the scandal, Elizabeth still can't abide his former mistress, Rielle Hunter.
Word is Elizabeth vehemently opposed the plan, now in place, for Hunter and daughter Quinn to move from New Jersey to Wilmington, N.C., where the Edwardses have a beach house.
For months now, Elizabeth, who is said to be talking to a divorce lawyer, also has been sniping at Hunter - painting her as a blackmailing gold digger - in blog comments where she uses the pseudonym "Cherubim," according to a source who knows Elizabeth.
Though "Cherubim" has recently described herself as an African-American woman, the source insists, "It's Elizabeth. She's used 'cherubim' as a password. Look at the gravestone of their son Wade: It's an angel holding a boy."

You know, after the absolute fairytale they tried to sell the American people I find it really hard to summon up any sympathy for any of these people. I feel bad for the kids who had to choice in being involved but the rest of them are as low and dirty as I always felt they were.Sounds like Elizabeth instead of trying to come to grips with this is instead trying to hurt and strike out against all over this.If I were dying of cancer the last thing I’d want to do is put my young kids through a divorce.They are going to have more pain soon than you can imagine why inflict more for your own feelings?
I think it is horrible for the press to vilify them; especially when she is ill. I don't think either realized how nasty and what inhuman people are in the press and out there.
But, I stand by my first post husband and mistress are indecent and wife should have left.

When I told a dedicated Obama campaigner about Edwards and the affair and baby, in mid 08, she SLAMMED me and immediately started in with Edwards’ talking points about how wonderful he is, and launched into how desperate the right wing must be to make up these horrible, incredibly harmful rumors!!!
They didn’t see that one, they WOULDN’T see it, and they are being just as fooled by Obama. What can you do?
I used to think Bill Clinton was the biggest liar anyone could imagine as President. But every great once in a while, Clinton would tell the truth.
The liberals I am speaking of really do not want communism.
They want the government to “take care of the needy”.
They think corporations/companies are more evil than greedy government.

Sheesh, talk about obsessed — didn’t she realize that one day she would be found out? Could she look any more petty than blogging on these sites pretending to be someone else, ABOUT her lying, cheating husband? And I was defending her! (Sound of me washing my hands now)
