In a sea of 7,000 fans, controversial TV and radio talk-show host Glenn Beck took his crusade to Safeco Field today, saying he is the voice of reason in a divided America.
"I am a flawed human being," said Beck, 45. "But I'm in a position to ring the bell of warning."
Beck, sponsored by the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, came to Seattle amid a torrent of anger over his proclamation on July 28 that President Obama was a racist and that he believed the president has a "deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture."
Outside the stadium, about 30 protesters rallied against Beck.
Beck didn't criticize Obama in his hourlong talk, and spoke more about how both political parties are flawed. "We send these people to Washington and they go crazy on us," said Beck, as his supporters cheered and waved yellow flags with the words "Don't Tread on Me."

You’ve said it all!
I think 7000 is more than some Mariner games.

Thanks for that link.
Is this the “Glenn To Excellence Tour”?
A few weeks ago, a piece was posted here about some jackass who wanted to protest Beck by showing up at the event openly carrying firearms. He was having problems finding followers who owened a firearm and was begging for people to borrow one. Anyone know if this guy was ever able to track down anyone who owned a firearm?
I wish I wouldn’t have missed that article because I have no idea where to start searching.
“So far, Beck’s explanations have been nothing but empty headed BS. Pure sophistry.”
RM, I dont think there’s much of anything pure about Beck. Right off hand, probably doesn’t know shat sophistry is, (right off hand I dont know what sophistry is). Mc and any one is a team of question at best, but as time is proving none could top what we have for lack of sophistry.
Any how, the man is out front and beating the bushes and has pulled some of the heat off Rush, did I miss anything, probably. Lets hold back support till we have some one purely perfect, what?

‘I think I figured it out. No other station is carrying zeros speech to the black congressional caucus. Perhaps Fox is serving as a watchdog to keep track of what he is saying.’
Or maybe FOX is doing it so they can say ‘look, we carried your speech to the CBC, no one else did.’ Maybe the other stations are racist for not covering the speech? ;-)
I understood his explanation and agree with him. McCain would have folded at every bill in the name of bipartisanship at which point who would get the blame when it all fell down? The GOP and that would have cemented socialism for all time. McCain believes or agrees with about 75% of what Obama is doing. And, the GOP members of Congress, like they did with Bush, would have simply followed the "leader".
With Obama the curtains have been opened wide on the socialism and corruption of DC.
As for Palin what power would she have had as VP? She couldn't sway any votes or even propose any legislation. Sure, she could speak out if McCain didn't send her to Togo every week for a visit. But, other than speak out and reveal the weakness of the GOP what effect would having her as VP ever have?
‘So far, Beck’s explanations have been nothing but empty headed BS. Pure sophistry.’
Beck explained that having McCain in the WH wouldn’t have inspired the grass-roots , tea party uprisings in this country that Nobama has insipired. For the type of change that Beck has been speaking about, Nobama is a better candidate to piss off more people than McCain would have been. That was his intent behind his statement, and while he could have explained it a little better when he said it, his reasoning makes sense.

Well, here's his photo:
Professor Stephen Schwartz, age 67.
Judging from his sweater, it appears as though the boy is suffering from “global warming” syndrome too.

Capacity: 47,116
Year Built 1999.
SO Glenn manages a screaming 7K or 14% of capacity. Not bad, almost a Cubs game.
Why a baseball field?
Use the fact that Fox carried O when the others did not. Casually ask the O fans that you know, “How did you like the Obama speech on Saturday?” (Assuming that they are news junkies and are tuned in normally to the other channels and hate Fox). Then you get to say, :Oh, I guess only FOX carried it. Hmmmmm (hmmm hmmm, Barack Hussein Obama).
Look at his Blogger Page LOL.
