BIG CREEK, Ky. (AP) - A part-time census worker found hanging in a rural Kentucky cemetery was naked, gagged and had his hands and feet bound with duct tape, said an Ohio man who discovered the body two weeks ago.
Jerry Weaver of Fairfield, Ohio, told The Associated Press on Friday that he was among a group of relatives who discovered the body of 51-year-old Bill Sparkman on Sept. 12.
"The only thing he had on was a pair of socks," Weaver said. "And they had duct-taped his hands, his wrists. He had duct tape over his eyes, and they gagged him with a red rag or something.

This incident could very well have nothing to do wuth the fact the victim was a census taker. Maybe he was a government informant (against druggies, thugs, terrorists, what have you), and the fact he had “fed” scrawled on his body could refer to that association.
Weaver said the body was about 50 years from a 2003 Chevrolet ...

The fact that he was blindfolded and had his hands tied behind his back makes suicide very unlikely.
Of Fortunately, once they made the sale of Sudafed and the other cold and flu drugs that have the stuff meth heads want in them, the problem has gotten a little better. Except now the drug cartels are growing pot in the National Forests that abound here and in northen California.
Goes to show that the back-woods can have some pretty scary predators in them--and they aren't the four-legged variety.
Is this the first we’ve heard about the duct tape over his hands and feet and eyes? I didn’t pick up those details before.
Perhaps he came upon a meth lab, and drug dealers thought he was a narcotics detective just pretending to be a census taker... Scary stuff. Some people are just evil.
I always liked that song. When I was a kid, my parents had a cabin in the ozarks in the middle of the woods. It was on a hill. the locals called the hill “copperhead hill”. The locals acted like the characters in that song.
I’m questioning if that’s true. Why would the police have announce they hadn’t ruled out suicide if it was.

It seeems that itmust have been because he had his Census ID on?
I am puzzled about the motive for this murder.Did the victim stumble onto something , and overreach for information, under color of being a census worker?
Or was it a purely random killing involving the victim stumbling on a scene of illegal activity?

How do you duct tape your own hands and then hang yourself? What am I missing here? Also, the ID taped to the neck does not seem to fit with suicide.
I.e., could it be like those cases when someone claims "hate crime" when they were the ones who scrawled the nasty words themselves?
Or, some Marxist trying to make those who are concerned about the direction of government look bad.
It's something quite evil, nevertheless.

It was someone who didn’t like census takers. That’s why “fed” was on him and his census id was taped on him.
How long until Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck is blamed?
Maybe those facts aren’t true.
