Good for you! I’m glad to know that my alma mater isn’t entirely made up of liberal profs. From reading The Exponent online, it appears that many are not happy about Ayers coming to campus-I hope there will be a big turnout to protest.

After rereading your post I realized that you were simply noting the fact that my challenging the administration is a gutsy move. I am definitely not awake yet...lol. I MEANT to say "After reading your post,..." I also meant to say later in my response, "reason; it..."

Thanks for all the great posts. It looks like I will be able to make it to the protest. There is no real chance to get into the lecture, as it is a very small room.

Does anyone out there have any good sign suggestions?

“Purdue officials said the Ayers’ talk, was never intended for an audience outside of certain academic fields that the lecture series touches on.

Several groups already had said they planned to protest Ayers’ speech.”
