It sure was great to be a part of this historic event! We American patriots were certainly NOTICED!
Special thanks to our convention committee:JimRob, JustAmy, Mike Evers, MinuteGal, Rafterman, Surfer, Syncro, and also Honest Conservative who was instrumental in helping us obtain our wonderful speakers Colonel Allen West, Joyce Kaufman and Andrew Wilkow! We send them a very special thanks for coming to speak at our National Tea Party Convention!
Special thanks to comedian Jackie Mason who produced and starred in a special video appearance with a hilarious stand-up routine made just for Free Republic!
We also want to thank our especially talented Freepers, Lloyd Marcus and Lisa Mei Norton and son Joshua for their wonderful songs during our convention programs!
A special heartfelt thanks to Chaplain Laura Bush for her inspirational talk and prayer during our vigil on 9/11.
We also want to thank Freepers GRRRRR, RiceBug, FreeAngel The Right Stuff and Brogan, LibStripper, TheRightGuy, Peter W.Kessler, SusieQ, SirKit, and MarineVetWife and others who all chipped in to help during the convention events!
We couldn't forget a very special thanks to our talented Master of Ceremonies, Mike Evers, and our Sergeant-at-Arms, Roaddog727 for making each convention program the best it could be!
Every Freeper knows it is JimRob who makes all things possible for us here on Free Republic. The special Free Republic plaque that decorated the podium during our National Tea Party Convention was presented to Jim as a token of our appreciation. Thank you, Jim!

I sure didn't mean to but I forgot to mention a great group of Freepers who worked so hard to make our trip to Walter Reed a highlight of our convention in DC!
A big thanks goes to Trooprally, 3DJoy and all the DC Chapter Freepers who organized transportation to and from the Metro station and provided refreshments to all who visited Walter Reed to honor our heroes!
God Bless the DC FReepers and many American patriots in the DC area who faithfully visit Walter Reed every weekend to make sure our wounded warriors and their families know we will never forget their sacrifice and service to our country! God Bless our military!
This is a Master Ping but for those of you on the list who had the opportunity to help make the Friday 9/11 Walter Reed Rally such a success, I add my Thanks to Brytani and SeekTheTruth.

Thanks for the ping, Seek. The Walter Reed visit was a great honor for me and I too wish to express gratitude to the DC freepers for their tireless loyalty to the service men and women.
Has anyone seen the video that Peter from N.Y. shot that evening? I was holding the umbrella for him to allow him to shoot in the rain. Several interviews were recorded and lots of good pictures of the crowds and cars honking in support of the Freepers and their signs and flags.
