The Hill: Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said that it's not enough for African-Americans to levy allegations of racism against the right-leaning protesters, and that the media must look into their views.
"I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed," Waters told the liberal Bill Press Radio show in a podcast. "I want journalists to be all over those rallies and the marches with the birthers and the teabaggers."

Yo, Maxi! Why don’t we start the investigation with the party of slavery, racism and the KKK. You know, the party that voted as a majority against the civil rights act and the party that turned hoses on civil rights protestors and the party that blocked school doors. Why don’t you start with the former Kleagle Robert Byrd. After you have investigated that party thoroughly then consider looking into the party founded as the anti-slavery party that freed the slaves, ensured citizenship for freed slaves, fought the KKK and sent in federal troops to open those school doors.
