Does everything have to be a video? A text summary would do just fine.

You might want to do a search for the text. I just calls 'em as I sees 'em and that's what I saw.

Like Myrddin, I too want to see and read the printed text of a topic. More and more I see folks posting videos which is fine but not for quoting or transcribing purposes. Videos make it much harder to quote something heard in a video because it requires making a tape of the comment, playing and re-playing it in order to get the quote right, etc. Obviously, this is part of the technological revolution but it surely does not make it easier to use it and it is a significant time-waster for folks who have other things to work on.

Greyfoxx, my comments are not aimed at you nor am I taking a shot at you for posting a video. You just presented the occasion for me to comment on something I’ve been thinking about for a while.

In this instance, I went to the NRO site to try to find Lowry’s printed article. I did a search on their site and it took me right back to a link for the video even though the original link mentioned the video was a follow on to an earlier Lowry printed article.

I had the same experience...in fact, I think this may be the very first time I posted a video.

I'm interested in learning the information in your post, but I'm in an office environment where running a video with accompanying audio is distracting to others nearby in the office. It also takes more bandwidth to display a video with audio than static text. I can have a look at the video when I return home where I pay for the bandwidth and won't disturb others in the room.
