On September 12, 2009 American conservative of all persuasions showed that they had awaken . Millions of Americans all over the country protested the out of control spending, economic-ruining, socialistic and unconstitutional tendancies of the current politicians in Washington DC, and particularly the Obama administration. Estimates ranged from 2 million by the Daily Mail in the UK, to near one million by Homeland Security, to several hundred thousand by NBC. Watching it on TV, I believe there were a million or more in Washington DC. See the pictures below and decide for yourself:
And the Official Obama administration response? You guessed it... American citizens are intent on restoring the Constitution. . Conservatives consistantly poll as a large majority of the polical makeup of America...conservative Republicans, conservative independents, and conservative democrats too. When Jimmy Carter ran down America during his presidency between 1976 and 1980, Americans reacted against him and he was defeated in a landslide. The Obama administration policies are worse for America than Jimmy Carter's were, moving more rapidly and with far more abandon than even Carter tried, or Bill Clinton for that matter. The results are going to be the same. Americans want to restore the Constitutional Republic, based on the US Constitution and its foundational moral and republican principles. They are not asking for this...they are demanding it. And they will have satisfaction. Starting in 2010 with the largest overturn in the history of the House and Senate in a single election, and proceeding through 2012, the American people showed on 9/12/2009 that they are willing and more than capable of taking these measures into their onw hands. Current liberal, socialistic, marxistic, and RINO politicians ignore this at their own mortal political peril...and justifiably so. Neuter them in 2010...send them packing in 2012! I am LOVING this! Thanks!
Our group did not walk the entire route, starting off around 11:15 even at that by the time we got to the Capitol, the front section was full and so was the right side of the capitol lawn. We found ourselves on the left side of the lawn in the grove of trees. There was no chance of getting any closer.
This photo was near the official beginning of the parade, Dick Armey was in this block of marchers.

Thanks. Great photo and wonderful narrative. Feel free to post more photos too. God bless all who attended and all supporting them across this entire nation.
I’d say at least hundreds of thousands, that’s for sure.
Oh hell YEA!
OBAMA LIES.....THE USA DIED
I didn't get this fellows name but I liked his style.
This little girl when asked to smile for us showed us that she could use two front teeth for Christmas. She was a real cutie.
We met these folks right before leaving. We had our first provoking liberal right after this photo was taken. She began to shout, "Health care for all" We chanted back at her, "Put it on your tab." Some guy at the stop light shouted out at her, "You are going to need health care with that fat a**.
We will not see anything this fair and balanced in the mass media. Cheers, Brits!
I want a credible estimate of the crowd by an objective third party with expertise and/or experience in estimating crowds.
Really, though, it doesn't matter. Our march was a HUGE success!! I don't want to argue about it . . . but I will say one more thing: The DC Police don't do crowd estimates. At all. As I was walking out I asked one (who was standing with the officer who did the orientation that morning with us volunteers) and they both said, "It is our policy to not estimate crowd sizes." But it WAS much bigger than they were prepared for. The one DC Policeman chuckled, "I'll tell you this: there's more than one person here." :o)
ROTFLMAO
GREAT pics! Wish I could have been there with you all!
This thread made my day!!! Thank you!!!
