I used to have the original thread bookmarked, from the morning of September 11, 2001. I think the title was "Plane Hits World Trade Center". If anyone has it, I would be very appreciative if you sent it to me. I just don't want lose it.

I’ll have my day of Service tomorrow. It will start at dawn when I raise the Flag, and say the Pledge of Allegiance.
My day of Service will continue when I pray for those Souls lost in NYC, and at the Pentagon, and those who FOUGHT on Flight 93.
My day of Service will continue throughout the day as I watch the news to see just which network WILL REMEMBER that fateful day,
And my day of Service will end with NEVER FORGET!
I cannot say the same for the Pretender in Chief.

Every year, on 9/11, I make sure I watch the coverage from all the networks on youtube. I always start crying 30 seconds into it.
I remember it well. I had just gotten home from working third shift and followed along here as I watched TV.
I wasn’t a FReeper back then. So much has changed. But I haven’t forgotten. I WILL NO FORGET.
You really need to view Flight 93. They did a fantastic job. You can add the traffic controllers and military to the long list of heroes. My only criticism is they didn’t film it on a heartbreakingly crystal clear blue sky perfect day. Other than the atrocity itself, the innocent blue sky is what I remember so clearly about that day.

And, sadly, most of the Dhimmicraps.
Some of them would show the original broadcast each year, but I haven’t seen it listed this year. Have they stopped doing that?
