Wilson’s outburst, no matter how true, was uncalled for. And in the end it was politically stupid beyond belief - it simply plays into the liberal stereotype of conservatives being out-of-control. Moreover, it helps convince the large “middle” that the liberals are right about us. We need less hysterical outbursts, and more reasoned logic - such as the way it is explained above how Obama was lying.

Anyone who can’t accept and understand the anger displayed by Wilson really belongs with the democrats anyway. Obozo’s whole speech was an insulting attack filled with lies and halftruths.

In case you haven’t noticed the media has been portraying us in a bad light for years. Quite frankly the “centrists” can kiss my ass. They’re nothing but mutts cowering with their tails between their legs hoping the marxists will toss them a few crumbs.

Precisely the strateegery liberals want to use with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

“We need less hysterical outbursts, and more reasoned logic...”

And where will be able to exhibit our more reasoned logic other than the restricted media of talk radio and certain sites on the Internet? Do we have access to Obama’ bully pulpit, the broadcast networks and their many affiliates, most of the newspapers, the union newsletters? No, we must get our message out where and how we can.

I am looking forward to the day that someone speaks the truth and doesn’t apologize for it afterwards. I’ll probably be waiting a long time.

it simply plays into the liberal stereotype of conservatives being out-of-control.

Only to those idiots who believe that. And Americans are coming around fast on that score. They know better.

We need less hysterical outbursts, and more reasoned logic - such as the way it is explained above how Obama was lying.

The reasoned logic over the past couple months, such as that coming from Sarah Palin and others, is what's turned the debate around in our favor. It's there and has been noticed. Outbursts like this don't do that much damage. In fact we could all use a little passion. It's time to take the gloves off. The socialist elite do it all the time. Just ask Obama and his communist Czars.

Right.....because those rowdy out of control town halls really hurt us...oops. Guess they didn’t.

You know what hurts us? When Republicans bend over and refuse to tell the truth for the sake of “civility and decorum” while the enemies are screaming they are Nazi’s. That’s what hurts us.

I have no use for your idea of politics anymore. It didn’t work, it never worked. From now on we tell the truth, unvarnished and without fear of what the other side says about us. They are going to lie either way.

Maybe, but it was heard around the world. Guess what I did today, I researched how many lies , in total, were presented by YOUR LIAR IN CHIEF in his 55 minute bore. Came up with seven at first glance. I think he is a worse liar than your “ I did not have sex with that woman” ex President.
The worst lie of the night was “ First, I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits, either now or in the future". This from a guy who added more debt to your taxpayers in 6 months than the cumulative debt incurred for the two centuries that preceded him! Thanks to Mr. Wilson this speech is seared in my memory has the Obama lying session before the American joint congress. If my eyes did not cheat me, I saw embarrassment on the face of some Democrats! As my favorite political philosopher stated: 'In a demecracy, you deserve the government that you elect and you deserve everything that they do to you once in power" Sincere good luck to your democracy because I'm smart enough to know that if yours is taken away, ours will die soon after.

I not only disagree, but disagree strongly. To believe that conservatives are, as you term, "out-of-control" and are pursuing the debate from the moral low ground, one must be willfully blind. When the Speaker of the House refers to American citizens voicing their opinions at town hall meetings as Nazis, how in the world is calling the President a liar (which, by the way, he has been repeatedly documented to be) an act of wretched excess? It is high time some elected official showed the courage to say what is on the mind, an in the hearts, of millions of Americans. Rep. Wilson deserves our thanks and support.

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! This is like saying you can reason with bullies... we have been polite for too long, now is time for us to be honest...from the plumber to the congressman.. no more bowing our heads and averting our eyes and trying to be “above all that”. I want to see more public acknowlegement that the emperor is truly naked.

Wilson shouldn’t have been alone, and he should have been cheered by the republicans.

I disagree. Liberals now have their own stereotype issues to deal with - beating up conservative black men and biting the fingers off of opponents, calling opponents ‘Nazi’s’ and ‘evil-mongers’, and so on. And, the large ‘middle’ (independents) has been abandoning Nobama for a few months, perhaps because they believe in their hearts exactly what Wilson said out loud during the speech. I think that, given the chance to have a do-over, Wilson wouldn’t have said anything, but the fear of some big backlash against conservatives is unfounded. The mentally deranged folks are on the other side, and we look rather tame and composed when compared to them.

I completely agree. This was as bad as DeMint saying the defeat of the healthcare bill would “break” Obama. Obama has used that statement to beat Republicans over the head repeatedly and to justify his refusal to consider any of their proposals. When will Republicans learn not to show their hand? No wonder they’re the “stupid” party. They shoot themselves in the foot every chance they get.
