WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden says a Republican congressman's outburst during President Barack Obama's health-care speech Wednesday night "demeaned the institution."
South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson shouted "You lie" after Obama said extending health care to all Americans would not mean insuring illegal immigrants.
Appearing on ABC's "Good Morning America" Thursday, Biden said the incident made him "embarrassed for the chamber and a Congress I love."

I watched it last night and I have watched the utube video.
When Obama started this lie there was much murmuring from the Republican side, they all knew the lie was coming. You can hear them murmuring, they quieted a bit and Wilson called Obama a liar. OBAMA IS A LIAR.
It is super hard to sit while a person at a microphone tells an outright untruth and you know it , and dont have the power to do anything about it.
Perhaps Wilson was rude when he said it, but it doesnt change the facts that Obama was lying.
Sure it was. But to stir up this level of outrage, you have to purposely forget every State of the Union address when the opposition party has loudly booed the President, any President, for saying anything they vehemently disagreed with, for the past 40 years.

I understand the setting is supposed to be one of order and civility, BUT obama trashed that notion when he alluded that Palin and others had been lying. He could have called it a difference of opinion or a misunderstanding of how the plan will likely work. Whatever he called it, Palin’s warning of death panels is not a lie. The real shame here is that after obama repeated one lie after another Joe Wilson was the only one to set him straight.
