In Britain, they at least know that the PM IS NOT ROYALTY ! ! ! Perhaps the one good thing about having a king/queen/whatever. Personally, I think GUILLOTINE is about right for royalty.

If we had one Rep and one Senator with his balls, we could have questioned Obama’s credentials during the Jan 5 joint session.

But they didn't. And then Wilson issued an apology. What a bunch of spineless wimps.
Obmama's speech was a farce and a waste of taxpayer money and precious congressional resources. He had no business calling a special session of Congress over some stupid health care proposal. We are on a two front war and our economny is sinking faster than the Titanic and he calls a joint session to pass a resolution that will punch another hole in the hull in the ship of state.
For one second I cheered as Joe Wilson called out Obama. Then came the apology. Now the story is that Wilson apologized, and the implication will be that Obama spoke the truth.
What a wasted day yesterday turned out to be.
Yes it requires phone numbers but that is probably per FEC regulations.
He apologized for where and when he said it, which is probably appropriate (we don’t operate like the British Parliament does) but he did NOT apologize for what he said.
It was not spineless to apologize but I am disappointed in his fellow Republicans for not sticking up for what he said!
BO gave a landmark speech last night. A president addressing both houses of Congress - outside of the SotU - happens one time a decade, maybe. And frankly, the parts of the speech that I saw looked to be well-received.
So, instead of all the talking heads yammering about how BO makes their legs tingle and how brilliant his Health Care proposals are....maybe turning the public opinion around....they're needing to manufacture outrage about some no-name member of the House who dared to speak the truth and call out the president.
BO is off-message. Again. This is great, pass the popcorn.
Watch the news. The story is going to be the apology and not Obama’s lie. By apologizing at all, he has, by implication, tacitly admitted that Obama spoke the truth.
