But Martosko argued that Singer’s influence on Sunstein was “obvious” from the nominee’s own writing, and from private conversations. “You can never elevate animals,” said Martosko. “All you can do is lower humans to the level of animals. If you’re intellectually honest — and Sunstein is a Harvard Law professor, so I’m sure he has thought through this — you can draw the conclusion from there to organ donation without consent, or to rationing of end-of-life care. There’s nothing special about you. You’re just another animal.”

The only vote I saw taken on line was to invoke cloture which passed so he cannot be filibustered. Are they voting after that to confirm?
I just heard Beck name the Pubs who voted for cloture. Do they have any idea what they’re doing?
Glenn Beck listed them, Snowe, Collins, Lugar, Hatch...I can’t remember who else.
That was the cloture vote. Judge Napolitano was on Glenn he said that Sunstein will have alot of power and the damage will be unlimited if he is confirmed. He is not a mrxist or anything like that BUT is to the very far left of the dem party. This guy is BAD NEWS!
One more thing—your weapons are in huge danger with this guy who wants to ban hunting. He thinks the 2nd amend is flawed.
