The Second Bill of Rights
FDR's Unfinished Revolution & Why We Need It More Than Ever
....The problem, as he describes in his engaging, thoughtful and original book, "The Second Bill of Rights: FDR's Unfinished Revolution & Why We Need It More Than Ever," is that we didn't go far enough, and an opportunity was lost to extend our notion of rights to include social, cultural and economic entitlements, to go alongside the more conventional civil and political freedoms that Americans otherwise enjoy.....

Just wait, there is more to come.. While Cass isn’t as weird on the 9/11 stuff or racist like Jones, he is in no way a moderate.
Good old Cass
“Sunstein is an academic by trade but a romantic at heart.” NOt really - Cass is so far Left, he makes Rooooosevelt look like Darth Vadar by comparison.
THe New New Bill of Rights is needed
1) Freedom from an overreaching Federal Govenment trying to contol every aspect of our lives
2) Freedom from biased, politically motivated mass media
3) Freedom to raise my children according to MY beliefs, go to the church and worship as I deem correct and the freedom to speak my mind without fear of the Geovernment calling me a thug or terrorist
4) Freedom from an invading army of poorly educated or uneducated, disease riddled illegals.
Add more as you see fit.
Cass (spits) ya, what a good deal he is going to be for all of us. You liked Van Jones? THen BOHICA
I don’t the problem is so much what these Czars believe in or say, as much as it is an appointment without debate.
Does Obama believe in principle what these people say and believe in? why can’t we debate the issue?
His talking to students wasn’t the problem, it was the questions and essays he wanted the students to write FOR HIM. Can’t the MSM see that?
I have posted it before but it is time to “Van Jones” this Cass Sustein creep. He wants to allow animals to sue people. He is so wacked out he makes some of the other czars look sane.
But then, why bring logic into a discussion with a liberal?
You've taken the words right out of my mouth, I often point out that anything that requires the labor or service of another is not a 'right' but a commodity.
Working on it.. I just found something funny. Old Cass has crossed paths with our own Buckhead.

Better yet - “there’s never just one cockroach”
Sunstein’s quote in that article is unobjectionable.
The founders of this country limited the federal government out of a well recognized fear as to what a large federal power could inflict on the populace. The Sunstein's and Obama's of the world desire the power to control veiled behind the propaganda of help.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program

In the event of a catastrophe that leaves you as the only person left alive on Earth you can still exercise all your actual rights. In fact you could exercise your rights much more freely because there would be nobody who could possibly interfere. Any right that you could not exercise never was a right in the first place, it was only an IMAGINED right.
