PHOENIX (AP) - An Arizona pastor has triggered protests after preaching a sermon last month titled "Why I Hate Barack Obama."
Dozens of demonstrators gathered Sunday outside Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe to protest the message preached by the Rev. Steven Anderson.

Anderson told his congregation that he doesn't advocate taking up arms, but he does pray that Obama will die for the good of the nation.
Protesters on Sunday told KNXV-TV that they believe Anderson is guilty of hate speech."
Okay...I'll acknowledge that we don't like him. But is it ever right to pray for his death?

He missed the part about loving your enemies as well.
I continue to be jaw-dropping amazed at what people decide God wants or even that God at all hates. Nuts like this guy should only be allowed inside the doors of the church if he agrees to fall on his knees and beg forgiveness.
Maybe it would be best to pray for his conversion.
Isn’t this the jackass that gives the “pisseth against the wall” sermon? Great, Fred Phelps is getting old, and now we get a replacement.

The precedent is Napoleon. He came back and came back to cause trouble. If the French had had the good sense to execute him in the beginning, they would have saved thousands of lives.

We have popular vote in this nation to elect our leaders; no matter how repugnant they may be.

The Pastor should be praying for Obama’s repentence, not for his death.
