"I couldn't be prouder to be laying my sword on the table along with everybody else in the Obama Love Army, and I'm excited about it." ___ Van Jones

“Obama’s Love Army?” What “sword” is he talking about?
Guy went to Yale and has NO CLUE how our economy works.
Lets hope more follow his example and resign before they get Swift Boated by the truth.
“My role will be to help to shape policy to get as many jobs and as much justice as we can out of the climate and energy proposals coming from the administration.”
Meaning, racially restricted jobs and income redistribution...you know, “spreading the wealth.”
I think it's more like straws and coffee stirrers
“... What sword is he talking about?”
a Rwandan machate?
Well you assume he wanted to know, something I doubt revolutionaries are really interested in.
Never, and I mean never bring a sword to a gun fight!
As with everything relating to the Aesopian language of the Left, Love Army = Hate Army.
YES magazine , is of course, a BETA website dedicated exclusively to promoting the likes of Van Jones.
Talk about a Love Army.
This guy Jones came out with a very simpleminded “thesis”
book, you know, the usual kind of obligatory volume that
is supposed to be a testament to what a deep thinker you are (think of how it all started with Al Gore’s “Earth in the Balance” many years ago, and what mighty oaks grew from that ludicrous exegesis of junk science).Books like this are supposed to provide some kind of passport of respectability in the big world of DC Politics. The ‘researches’ of Van Jones dovetail PERFECTLY both with Obama’s plan for scrapping all old technology, and replacing it with new, AND the ethereally naive idea that tens of thousands of black innercity youth with no hope and no skills would be recruited into this new Green Collar Economy, in some kind of Mega WPA for the “New Depression”, that would solve , as he put it , TWO big problems (unemployment and environmental concerns) This is stuff that is so much wishful thinking, I am surprised any but a vanity press would publish it. But that’s not the Affirmative Action Publishing World we live in today.
L0L!!
Then he better re-arm himself with some safe condoms!!!
You beat me to it. This statement needs to be spread far and wide.
For a Yale Man, this tidbit, whether in or out of context, is so far removed from understandable language that it defames the orator.
The pronouncement of "All your base are belong to us." makes more sense.
It may be some freaky reference to Camelot and the Round Table.
Egads! You think he really read L’Mort de Artur?

I doubt it. I think it’s a JFK thing. DemocRATS are always trying to be somebody else.
A small one.
Looks like a dagger only smaller...
