What the heck does this EVEN mean? Is this a metaphor? Is this some anecdote or obscure reference to some cliche'?

For a Yale Man, this tidbit, whether in or out of context, is so far removed from understandable language that it defames the orator.

The pronouncement of "All your base are belong to us." makes more sense.
