Whenever I'm in a conversation with someone and they play the race card (ex. "Republicans don't like Obama because he's black")I just go into full Mock-mode. I laugh at them and point out that they obviously have no rational argument or defendable principles. Instead, they just make **** up and hurl insults like children. That conversation is over and I declare myself the winner. It's not up for discussion: I won, because they childishly tried to make race the issue in a conversation that wasn't about race.

Ridicule is very powerful. Ridicule the people who play the race card. 100% of the time, no matter what. Make the race card a liability. Make it go away.

Your method is great in a one-on-one debate, but if we don’t cover the racism and the incendiary remarks used to stir up people of color, we will be turning a blind eye to the problem.

There are a lot of people that will believe Van Jones’ remarks.
