In a move suggestive of the Pyongyang public school system, the U.S. Department of Education recommended that before the speech students collectively brainstorm questions like, "Why does President Obama want to speak with us today? How will he inspire us?" Classrooms are to be festooned with "notable quotes excerpted (and posted in large print on board) from President Obama's speeches about education," presumably alongside benevolent-looking images of the dear leader.

OBAMA YOUTH. He’ll buy them all brown shirts next.
‘stay away from my kids’
Let’s keep all the kids out of school that day and call it “No Indoctrination Day”.
“Stay away from my kids.”
Better yet, call it Constitution Day for kids and family. Read the Constitution instead! And make sure they understand it.
It’s common knowlege now, but I still never thought that such a thing could happen here until it did.
“stay away from my kids”
please excuse the correction: Stay the f*%k away from my children.
IMHO
“Dear FUBAR Leader” I am just a kid but I love you so much. More than mommy and daddy. How can you inspire me today?
Can you imagine if GWB pulled a stunt like this? The hypocrites in the LSM would have had a spotted cow. But with the Zero why it’s all sweetness and enlightenment!
Children will have been exposed, by now, to media talking heads implying that only racists object to the Obamist cult. Some may have seen clips on TV about the fake ‘scary’ gun toting man showing up at a town hall meeting - the man turned out to be an articulate, calm black man objecting verbally on principle to Obama’s medical program.
But children were never shown that there WAS no danger. Are children going to be taunted by others ‘trained’ by MSM how to perceive a different opinion? Will they feel like their teachers won’t like them if they don’t support Obama? (they are probably right about that - many teachers are rabidly pro-obama). What a tough world for child to face!
When the pied piper could no longer charm adults, he went for the children. Or as Uncle Nikita once put it, “We will see your children bury you.”
Lets keep all the kids out of school that day and call it No Indoctrination Day.

Their communfascist teachers would just tape it and show it to them another day....probably multiple times throughout the year.
Communfascism is our nation’s **most** serious threat. Government K-12 schools are the communfascist’s **most** powerful weapon. Yet...From reading posts here on Free Republic I conclude that few conservatives are aware of the threat or the weapon.
My youngest is now in middle school, so I don’t think he’ll be subjected to the “obama message.” However, if for some reason the school decides to carry the socialist message to the classroom, he will be staying home that day. Then again, maybe I should let him go and tell him to “townhall” the message. He already knows obama is full of it, he could pass on his take to his classmates.
A great boilerplate letter circulating by email:
Dear <<<>>> School Board Members:
I am the parent of a child in a <<>> School District elementary school. In connection with President Obama’s scheduled speech to all of the nation’s public schoolchildren next week, I have a few questions:
1. Does the federal government exercise control over the local public elementary schools? That is, can the President of the United States dictate the timing and subject matter of presentations to elementary school students?
2. Does the School Board have a choice concerning whether to broadcast President Obama’s speech?
3. If the school board has a choice, when will the school board meet to decide its course of action? If there is no special or regular meeting to make the decision, when and how will that decision be made?
4. Do school principals have a choice concerning whether to broadcast President Obama’s speech to all of its students?
5. Do teachers have a choice concerning whether or when to broadcast the speech? Will all teachers be required to broadcast the speech and conduct the federal government’s recommended pre-speech activities and follow up discussions as an addition to the regular school day curriculum?
6. If the decision is made to broadcast the President’s speech in the classroom, will parents be offered a choice to exempt their children from this broadcast and its attendant activities without a marked absence or other penalty?
Thank you very much for your responses to these questions prior to the September 8th event.
Sincerely,
That is a very good, inquisitive letter. I am going to have some fun with it.
Is this the wonderful "socialization" the homeschoolers are missing?
