There were actually some good pledges in there, like the one about speaking for those who have no voice (go read Isa 58)... however, it’s interesting to note some of the subtle linkages there like UNICEF and USAA.gov (?) being good organizations; as well as the more blatant ones like “being a servant” to the president.

I’d really like to know just who produced that video. It is very well crafted, very slick and obviously professionally edited. Things like that do not fall from the sky unaided, and they are certainly not cheap to produce. It had to be someone with good connections to Hollyweird in order to round up that much talent.

What’s more, I’d like to know who is distributing this thing too. Is it getting into the schools via the teacher’s unions or is there some other group at work here?

For all we know this thing is already out there all over the place, and the first thing we are likely to hear about is is after the fact, when Junior comes home to recite the new pledge he just learned...
