I think that pulling your child is a bigger statement.
As a homeschooling mom, I am not effected by this. However, two points...
First. If my kids WERE in school, I would not send them and WOULD include the reason why in the “Excuse note” back to the school.
Second, I have put on the MI boards that I will take any children into my home for the day. Free of charge. Parents need to work and we are home anyway. Everyone, including my own children will have the day off.
NO child should be indoctrinated.
What is very scary is the crowd cheering van jones every time he speaks...........
Just add it to the list of other adjectives they use to describe us!
We need to send him the information on the Food “Safety” Act HR 2749, a complete sellout to Monsanto and draconian regulations on farming.

Okay, I’ve got a theory here.
Obama was a big nothing burger nobody when he wended his way to Chicago and with his naked ambition and belief got involved with the nut cases like Ayers. Bill Ayers has children named after Che Gueverra or some such....goofballs they are that would not be paid attention to by anybody but the educational community that likes to thing they are too cool and see the world as us mere mortals fail to see.
You get this green people, communists, all manner of nuts, and all of them, with a little help from the corrupt Chicago politicos with their endless gubmint grants, some nearby Muslims and converted Black Muslims and they all worked to make Obama their guy to be president.
So Obama owes all these guys and he pays them back by giving them a job as a czar of something, a nothing job but they get a paycheck.
I’m still mulling it over but I think these czars are a way to pay back all the nuts who supported him.
The pubs will soon be out and about and informing the citizenry about this outrage just as soon as they are done tanning.

Well - my boy has a sub. right now because his normal teacher just had a baby. The sub. is a big lib on the city government level. There are not that many of them in our town so the stick out like sore thumbs. Nice enough person in general - she actually taught at the same school when I went there. A lib for sure though. Not every teacher is though - I’m pretty sure of that.

I think Obama is nothing more than a prop who was picked by the people pulling the strings. The real power is in the nutjobs named as czars.
