Clearly a suppression of Constitutionally-protected rights to freedom of speech and of peaceable assembly, considering that this occurred at an official Town Hall event.
The protester should have politely refused, and if arrested, sued.
As for the police officer in question, having graduated from another FCPS high school, the SROs are part of the Fairfax County Police as far as I know...just assigned to provide security at the public high schools.
In a nutshell, some kind of protest was underway, with people from left and Right carrying signs and the like.
The camera operator was carrying a sign that had a variation on the obama “joker” Got Socialism? poster. A campus cop told the camera operator he could not carry his sign on school grounds because it has a picture (I am not joking). An argument ensues and the cop keeps threatening to have our guy removed for trespassing if he holds up his sign.
When the camera guy asks “Is this America?” The cop says “It ain’t any more.”

People might also ask how the officer can charge someone with tresspass for holding a sign. Further how can the officer charge someone with “anything he wants” for holding a sign?

I was arrested @ 19 for Public intoxication. My friend and I were out late crabbing for a crab party next day and didn't have money for alcohol therefore had not had a drop. Got pulled over right in front of our apartments because it was midnight and my friend had long shaggy blond hair. Long story short, the cop was bored and his cop buddy showed up and they started arguing which was going to take us to jail. I was very respectful up to that point but then demanded to know on what charges. He said public intoxication and I demanded a breath test. He said no proof was needed and he really took me to jail. I was livid and talked to attorney next day after 14 hour release and was told I couldn't do anything about it. Waste of time. That was bad my friends.
I wouldn’t bother writing to the official press hack. She has no authority to discipline this a-hole.
I’d send an email to every person on the school board.
