Will President Obama "seize power overnight" in a move to consolidate White House control of the U.S. government?
That's the fear of Fox News anchor Glenn Beck who discussed the issue at length today with another broadcasting powerhouse, radio's Rush Limbaugh.
"I fear this government, this administration has so much framework already prepared, that they will seize power overnight before anybody even gives it a second thought," Beck said.
His comment came as he was analyzing the changing nature of the media since Obama's election, citing the administration's close ties with the NBC network, owned by corporate giant General Electric:
If you watch what could only be called the administration's organ – anything involved with GE or NBC – you've got [GE CEO] Jeffrey Immelt on the board of the Federal Reserve, you have him in the Oval Office consulting not only on health care, but the financial situation, and they are an organ. If you watch MSNBC, I contend that you will see the future because they are laying the ground for a horrible event ... anything from the right, there's some awful event and I fear this government, this administration has so much framework already prepared, that they will seize power overnight before anybody even gives it a second thought.
Limbaugh responded, "I don't think they're going to be able to seize it overnight without anybody knowing about it."

lets face it....most of what Beck has said over two years has come true or is coming true....

but in retrospect, did he even win the election?....if his base of media and communists is that strong, millions of votes could have been "made up"....

Notice how Obama is just soooo ‘inefficient’ that he can’t manage to fill his cabinet? Only 43% filled so far, but how many Czars has he named?
This is an interesting point and any decisions made by the "czars" should be challenged in court...up to the Supreme Court.
where ever there is totalitarian govt, the govt employees get paid better and have better benefits, just to keep them in the fold...

Officer's oath is the Constitution alone. Enlisted oath is to the Constitutin and to obey the orders of the President, and the officers appointed over them.

I, A.B., do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Last changed in 1962 to bring it more in line with the officers oath, before that in 1950 to put in the UCMJ, which didn't exist before the late 1940s creation of the Defense Department. It had previously not been changed since 1790, when both oaths were the same:
Officer and Enlisted Oath: I, A.B., do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) to bear true faith and allegiance to the United States of America, and to serve them honestly and faithfully against all their enemies or opposers whomsoever, and to observe and obey the orders of the president of the United States of America, and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the articles of war.
That's got to be the Army Version, since the Articles of War applied to the Army, the Navy had their own equivalent.
The 1868 change to the current officer's oath was more in keeping with the original 1789 version.
Officer Oath: I, A.B., do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) that I will support the Constitution of the United States.
Original 1789 Enlisted oath.
Enlisted Oath: I, A.B., do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) to bear true faith and allegiance to the United States of America, and to serve them honestly and faithfully against all their enemies or opposers whatsoever, and to observe and obey the orders of the president of the United States of America, and the orders of officers appointed over me.

Beck is right on, All of the signs are there, Holder’s show trials. Sotomayor. The absence of any pushback from the RINO traitor party. Rush is pretty comfortable right now. He’s not going to do anything to give up his luxury. They called Winston Churchill a lot of names too when he was warning about the first Hitler.

the siege began quickly and the road up to Weaver's house was blocked by the nazis......people were there but how do you bust thru a nazi line when you don't know whats going on or who's to blame?.....
