This is the way Camelot ends.
++++++++++++
What was ‘Camelot’? I think it was as imaginary as ‘hope and change’ and just as much a media creation. IMHO.

Half the people who have ever lived are dead. How many of them were sent to their deaths by this sorry, unapologetic, drunken excuse for a human being?
There are people who do not deserve any respect, alive or recently dead. Teddy the Lush was one of them.

Indeed. The joy tonight is not only knowing that he died without seeing his dream enacted - indeed, knowing that the odds against it were growing and that his selfishness might well be the thing to sink it in the end - but also in knowing that he suffered. Sometimes the world is a just place. He deserved so much more, alas.

Yep...that’s how I’ll remember him.
Does anyone find it odd that Obama chose to vacation in Kennedy’s neck of the woods at this time?
And, that Kennedy supposedly wrote a letter just a few days ago?
Gosh! Tin foil is getting expensive. ;o)

He pushed this national health care business right up to the end ... but he sure wasn’t willing to have it for himself or his family. When he got the brain tumor diagnosis, he got the absolute best doctors and care money could buy. What he believed in was mediocre healthcare for you and me, and the best for himself and his family/peers.
When one Senator steps forward who is promoting this healthcare travesty and says that he will vote for it when it includes all of the Congress, then that Senator will have credibility. No way would that ever have been Ted Kennedy. The only ones I can even imagine ever doing anything like that would have been Paul Wellstone or Paul Simon, both now gone.

I wont pretend to feel any sorrow whatsoever at the long-overdue passing of this evil, evil man.

Amazing for what passes as a statesman today. I will remember him to be that man who killed a woman and ran from the scene and was kicked out of college for cheating.

Hear, hear. This man has decided on his own reputation. Are we to lie about it post-humously, when he himself formed it?

We’ll be lucky to get the Beck rerun at this point. No such luck.

Ted Kennedy has the dubious distinction of being singularly responsible for more damage to the security and well being of the United States than any other person in modern history.
To: theyreallthesame
Major Garrett just reported that recently he has not always been aware of his surroundings or the people around him...I think this without a doubt proves he did NOT write that letter!
It was likely written by an aide of his as directed by someone high up in obama's administration, probably Rahm.

“This may sound heartless I know and cynical.....but honestly I believed this would happen while Obama was there.”
I noticed that too. Reminds me of the timing of Obama’s Grandma offing.

I had to rewrite this, I don't know if it got posted, hit the wrong key.
It's possible that they were dead the minute they hit the water, but why did they send the coast guard hundreds or thousands of miles away from were the plane went down, the only place that plane could be.
Caroline was home in time to claim the body, Edward and and low life sons went to the house and then they went to claim the body. Edward had to pose for a photo op that he was playing basketball or some such thing with Caroline's boys.
After that I didn't care much for Caroline and after her dinner with the low life AL Sharpton I have to use for her.
She didn't come to New York to get New Yorkers to vote for her, she went to Sharpton, that tells me what kind of a person she is.

Heard the news @ work (I work a night job). Death pool,
maybe delayed till later in the week.
WBZ radio is running a fawning tribute to him from ABC News.
Meanwhile we know ol’ Howie will have a respectful, dignified, and dare I say sober (!) tribute of his own.
Thankfully we still have Joe Kennedy. There will still be Wizard of Uhs contest. Sometimes.

“I hope Obama doesnt name the proposed Health Care bill after him and exploit that.”
