The Democrat in question is Brian “Brown Shirts” Baird, thus the pounding he takes here is extra gratifying.
Not sure I follow the Marine’s point about what right the feds have to tell him he can keep his insurance plan, though.
Presumably he’s making a Commerce Clause argument a la Rivkin and Casey, but if growing weed on your own farm for your own use constitutes “quintessentially” economic activity, wouldn’t a program that affects 15 percent of the entire U.S. economy also qualify?
If the public wants single-payer, hey — that’s democracy, red in tooth and claw.

The sad part is the clown on the stage just may not have a clue as to what this noble Marine said regarding taking the oath to protect our constitution. The left have become so maligned and surreal over the years they don’t know the difference between common rights and wrongs let alone what the underlining body of our constitution stands for.
