A thing to behold, really. Upper seventies to mid 40s in less than a year with a Democrat majority, and a complicit press corps!

The other thing to behold is the breathtaking ignorance of our electorate who, apparently, fell for all this nonsense in the first place.

Ya, I wonder if he’s really closer to 35%.

I’ve heard that his support among black voters has stayed very strong, even as his support overall has fallen.

So, if you take out the 90+% approval among the approx. 13% of voters who are black, I would believe he’s in the 30s among everyone else.

Of course it’s a long time to the next pres. election cycle, but is it possible another Democrat would make a primary challenge? Maybe Hillary will resign as Sec. of State and become a political “free agent”? And as such a free agent, takes on Obama in ‘12????

Exactly.

Whatever the democrat media reports Obama's popularity numbers, subtract about 10 points from the falsified information they are putting out.

I have been suspicious of polls since the "enemies list" talk with the request from the WH to report anything "fishy". Wouldn't a person being polled wonder who gets the results and how much info they have on you when they call? At the least, they have your phone number and or email address.

There must be people afraid to voice an opinion to a stranger that they "don't approve" after seeing what the MSM says about people at town hall meetings and tea parties.

“Oh wow this means he’s really at about 35 percent.......................”

Based on your screen name you and I have nothing much to disagree about. But one thing I learned the hard way in 2008 was that polls aren’t as far off as we would like them to be, if it says 45% then it’s pretty close to that. I read so many comments here during the 2008 campaign that said “he must really be down another 10 points”. But he wasn’t, it was fairly accurate. I don’t say it to be a jerk at all, but we have to take the polls at face value and fight all the harder. Just my two cents.

Take the black fools out of the equation and his approval is 33% at best.
