NYC ran Off-Track-Betting and was losing money hand over fist. The State took it over, and it was still losing money, to the tune of about $78MM in 2008!

It has to be worse if the press is even admitting to this. They always inflate his numbers so I do not doubt that it is worse than is being reported.
Consdiering the wake up call a lot of Americans are FINALLY facing, I think there are going to be a lot more Republicans after this. Democrats are simply inept at building things because they don’t understand ‘process’ and when things are bad, the citizenry prefer Republicans because they knwo how to handle problems. ‘
People with the temperment of Democrats for whatever reason take a fatalist view and rely on people who build things to keep going. Take away the builders and they freak out and drown.
I do the Zogby polls, I volunteered and they email me the poll. They do ask all these questions, did you vote last time, are you a likely voter, which party are you affiliated with.
I didn’t get sent this poll. I get one every four to six weeks. So I don’t know how he does it.
They also ask what state do you live in, and other wonderful questions. I don’t know why he doesn’t poll the same people every time. I’ve been doing his polls for several years, since before 2004 I think.
Obama does appear to be going through different phases these past 8-10 weeks.

It’s very sad that the first black president had to be such an enemy of freedom. I would love to have a good, decent black man as president some day. I think a man like that could strengthen and unify America like no one in history. I would be wonderful.
