AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
I’ll take the rain. Two bad droughts in 3 years taught me not to complain. The pond out back was 80% empty last drought!
Is that pond on the left where Woodland Ch and Camp Kanata meet?
I can’t believe what someone is ‘developing’ across from Woodland Baptist in the old tobacco field.....not on tree on those high end McMansion lots.
on=one
Bob has a lot of homes. When the hippies and loons came on his property, he has been known to greet them with heat.
yeah.
As far as the development in the tobacco field-virtually nothing has happened in 2 years........nothing.
FYI Tom Delay is joining Dancing With The Stars.....along w/Donny Osmond
The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” contestants has been announced. And it includes familiar faces from the worlds of modeling, entertainment and sports such as former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin, reality star Kelly Osbourne, singer Macy Gray and supermodel Kathy Ireland.
Bu the most interesting pick is from the political arena. No, not Barack Obama. Not yet, anyway.
It’s former House of Representatives Majority Leader Tom DeLay. DeLay is reviled by many Democrats — who will be watching to see him misstep — and beloved by more Republicans — who will cheer him on.
Apparently, he loves dancing and is a big fan of the show. Who knew?
The professional dancer-celebrity pairings will be announced on Aug. 24.
But here’s the complete celeb cast for Season Nine

Melissa Joan Hart, actress
Michael Irvin, former Dallas Cowboy
Ashley Hamilton, actor, comedian, singer-songwriter

A lot of kids play B-ball on the church’s court. Almost every day. I’m about 2 miles north from the old Mitchell home. You ever seen the Davis home out that way? Very nice. Can’t believe how they have built up over that way.
I will repeat the question I asked on the thread about this? Where ARE the men?
Yup. He likes his seclusion.
The concert was actually held outside of Bethel, NY, several miles from the town of Woodstock.
I know the Mitchell house, but not sure which one is the Davis home. Is it on 96 heading to Wilton?
My bud and I used to set hooks for them in the canal and the Cuyahoga back in the late 50’s, early 60’s. Frequently caught them at over 40 pounds. Sold the meat to delis in Cleveland.
No....head west on Woodland Church until it T’s at the Masonic lodge. Hang a right....it’s on the right about a mile down. The Davis brothers, at one time, owned most of the land out this way (Granville Co.) along with the Mitchell family (Franklin Co). I’m not sure which family built the house you are referring to....another nice old home, too.
Oh, I absolutely know the home you are referring too! I love it, and the rolling hills and creek they still overlook! By the way, that is the way I do go when headding over towards “Kelseys Store” area. Went to a small “sub” behind that store last week.
Note; I’d love to own the Mitchell house, (my wife knows those folks, I don’t).
Meant Davis house, not Mitchell in my reply.
Yup....very nice and I love it too. That road was gravel just a few years ago on the Davis house. Any copperheads around your parts? So far this year, killed one and trapped another for a 9-10 mile release into the country. That’s 5 or 6 on my 2 acres in 18 years. Lots of garter, black, ribbon and mud snakes around my place because of Horse Creek and the branch on my property. I only kill the copperheads and they are docile until you step on one. Haven’t seen the eastern banded king snake this year out back.
On another subject, you’re in a prime location for good OTA reception (over the air HD TV) Looks like most of the storm is going south of us at this time.
