Wow. Tom Coburn is tearing up this panel. Dick Army’s is doing a great job, too.

Tom Coburn just smacked down Daschle’s statistics on how poor our system is on “the numbers”. Addressing neo-natal morality - it’s in the Medicade side of things, not the privately insured side where more neo-natal deaths occur. It’s the “gov’t” programs that have the issues, not the private.....and we want more govt control. LOL, you go Tom.

On to Charlie Rangell....huh? What a moronic response to the question from a town haller to Obama.

I am told that WH is exempt from FOIA requests, but that did not stop the jackels from snooping through Dubya’s e-mails.

tinfoil gown firmly in place.

Now, is that a hospital gown, or an evening gown?

Another inadvertent truth by a dem - Charlie Rangel just said, “Making certain that we can cut down health care.”

He did not say ‘healthcare costs’ but ‘care’

and that is the real truth!

Right, “they” tell you “you can still work” and move the goal post back to age 66 or so (more, never less).

The primary talking points that are being spread by the obots is that the insurance company is a villain and needs to be destroyed for our own good. They were all chanting that since you would call a fire dept if your house burned down why wouldn’t you call the gummit if your body had a catastrophe? Isn’t your body more important than your house?

Interesting... one local town here had a private subscription fire department prior to incorporating. Afterwards, they kept the subscription fire department (paid for by each individual homeowner at their choice) rather than start a taxpayer-funded fire department because it was less costly. The homeowners prefer the cost and service of the privately operated fire department. All to say that is can be done very efficiently by the private section and people are smart enough to take care of themselves when they need to.

Oh, and haven’t you heard? The “war on terror” is over. Went out with a whimper, not a bang. Viva Bambi for ending the long slog, peace in our time, etc (until the next time).

The WH is not defending the house bill.

They are actually working (per MSNBC and CNN) on the finance committee bill. Think about it. Obama comes from a place where vote fraud requires you hold back a “magic district” to do catch up votes.

The finance committee is Obama’s (newHoover) hold back committee. The goal now for the WH is to manufacture a fictional “draw” and then say the horrific bill that SHALL come out of the finance committee is the consensus. (beware the tyrany of consensus negotiation)

GOP is not being constructive is the mantra. IOW support the left is constructive; not support the left is not constructive.

IS THERE NO MEDIA VOICE FOR THE CITIZENS OF THE USA? watching the MSM you would think only socialists exist.

I am sure they will try to run Bush bashing ads in 2010, however, they will have very little success with them. All ready here in 2009 the Bush blaming tactics are fading in effectiveness. All the polling data shows a growing % of the voters are looking at the Democrats as being accountable for the current situation in the US. That trend is only going to be stronger in 2010.

"Meet the Press" was worth watching when Russert was in charge. Now it's "jump a Joo" stuff - with conservatives sitting in for "Joos".

Republicans need to boycott shows "moderated" by this type of liberal.

Another inadvertent truth by a dem - Charlie Rangel just said, “Making certain that we can cut down health care.”

LOL. Charlie also said "we need to make sure we get the right treatment to the right people".

Hmmmmmm....and a govt panel is going to decide what that "right treatment" is and IF you are the "right person".

Good opportunity to point out Democrats have controlled congress since 2006. Bush was bad? Maybe so, maybe not but the fact is Democrats have controlled congress and the bills passed for three plus years now.

Obama is busy creating a back room deal he will produce in september. he is pushing pharma for campaign money and is trying to keep it from being toxic and doa.

Obama is trying to save a “bait and switch”

it is all about distraction and misdirection.

The real Obama plan is being back room dealed as we speak.

I agree used responsibly texting is a great tool but so many especially the youngsters and adults in their 30s an 40s who find it a novelty use it to excess and cannot go more than a few minutes without texting whether they are at school, college or even work or even worse with friends and texting other friends.

Used responsibly it has taken the place of the bleeper and is more effective because you can leave a message to indicate what the emergency is.

Exactly fish, I think you have it down.

The bill that Piglosi and the other House rats wrote was just an opening salvo, the best thoughts of all commmie/socialists in the rat party could hope for.

What they will get will be vastly watered down. They will ultimately accept and sign anything and we will praise our guys for getting it watered down.

Truth is however, if they get anything at all they can shape shift it,and they will, even if it takes a year to do so, all the way into 2010. These guys represent some of the worst scum bag lawyers of all time(the clintons, zero's,plugs etc., etc, need I go on) and they know how to get around any and all laws that get in the way of a socialist agenda.

Under cover of darkness and with DBM cooperation they can "hope and change" any bill from a compromised piece of legislation back into social welfare that will bust any budget anyone could ever devise and if they get the chance, which they have, they will.

If we don't stop this attempt alllll together, we are screwed, as a nation.

An don't forget when this is all over it's open the borders time until 2010.

And just because we throw the bums out in 2010 don't forget the Joker has Presidential powers he can play with as well as 50 Czars beholden to no one that are all running rough shod over the constitution just as fast as their little commie feet will take them. It's a brave new socialist world and we need to expose every new deed they do(that we know about ).
