Good grief- where in the heck did THAT come from? Just a little pop-up?
Haven’t had time yet to figure out if this was the yellow “low probability of development” system off the FL Keys yesterday. As I said above, I saw the non-stop lightning while walking the puppy this morning. TD4 is right out my back door.
: )

To be on the safe side, I whipped up a batch of turtle brownies. They are in the oven now.
Ana looks like a direct hit on the Louisiana gulf coast.
Wait\..what...is that um..
Turtle brownies are gooey dark chocolate with chopped pecans and drizzled with caramel. Chocolate and beer are the two most important hurricane staples. It’s just too early for beer.
Hey NN,
First thing I noticed this AM was the weird color of the sky, didn’t know there was a weather system till I logged on. Interesting.
lol what is a turtle brownie?
Thanks for the ping. Back with you another year from Central Florida. Let’s hope it’s a tame year. No 2004 AGAIN!
oh wow. yay : )
This hurricane season for the Atlantic seems to be beginning normally in mid-August. One tropical storm after the other, which will almost certainly develop into hurricanes on route to Hurricane Ally.
Fantastic sunrise! Red sky turned to eerie yellow glow.
I’m headed to the beach to see if there are any waves after I check Klystron 9. This sucker’s right off my back porch.
It was indeed a beautiful golden dawn.
Great to see you again! Three systems nearing FL is a bit ominous, and we’ll continue to hope for the best.
