Several national advertisers, including some Wisconsin companies, have pulled their commercials from the broadcast of the Glenn Beck Program on the Fox News Channel after Beck called President Barack Obama a "racist" who has a "deep-seated hatred for white people....
Several advertisers then removed their commercials from the show, including ....
Racine-based S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. [and] Plymouth, Wis.-based Sargento Foods Inc., a privately held company, pulled its ads from Beck's show.
Barbara Gannon, spokeswoman for Sargento, told BizTimes today, "I can confirm that we have instructed our media buyer not to buy any advertising that would appear during the Glenn Beck Show. We market our products to people regardless of their political affiliations, yet we do not want to be associated with hateful speech used by either liberal or conservative television hosts."

I dont care enuff for Beck to weed thru a bunch of products. His program is virtually unwatchable anyway. Boycotts rarely work for either side and I doubt that anyone who dropped him will pick him back up. Nobody is cancelling any ads, they are just moving to other Fox time slots. Somebody will buy the vacant spots and you can support them. I didnt sell my GM cars when Obama bailed out the company either. If you feel that strongly about it you have every right to do as you choose.
What did you think about boycotts of the Dixie Chicks?
What did you think about boycotts of the Dixie Chicks?
Thank you.
Herb Kohl is certainly a rat, but he and the Kohl family haven’t had anything to do with the Kohl’s stores for about 20 years.
So, it is hateful to point out someone’s racisim.
I’ll bet Bull Conner would have loved to have these Kool Aid Drinkers around.
Too Bad! You are now JUDGED by the company you keep!
BTW..I don't believe Kohl hasn't been associated with Kohl's for about 20 years.
That’s funny....
Add this to your list of doubts.

1978 -- BATUS, Inc., the U.S. division of BAT Industries, (British American Tobacco) PLC, purchased an 80 percent stake in the Kohls Food and Department Stores and took complete control of the company. At that time, the Kohl family withdrew from the operations of the company. Source.
I'll concede that I got it wrong since the Kohl family has not run the company in 30 years. This still likely won't curtail your boycott.

Sargento is easier to cut as their stuff is expensive anyways.
Why are we dumping these products? Because they have acted against one merely pointing out extremism, instead dubbing him extreme while giving the Bamster and his extremism a pass.
I use baking soda and vinegar all the time. Works well. I also use arm & hammer washing soda and twenty mule team borax both USA companies, and handles most cleaning jobs with no problem.
Yeah, Boycott, don’t buy from the sponsors, lets get all their employees on the unemployment line, we’ll show’em. Who cares who works for them, let them all suffer. After all, “all” their employees are radical left wingers. White collar jobs like Insurance companies, heck, no Conservatives there, screw ‘em. SARC/
You can do as you please but I will not let them use my money to kill me with.
I just sent Sargento an email announcing the termination of me buying their products.
You ought to be talking with you congresscritters about how up to $8 billion of your money, earmarked for ACORN, made it into the Stimulus package on his watch.
ACORN has made no bones about coming after you. I'll be seeing my congressman (Jo Bonner-R) tomorrow at a town hall meeting.
I have boycotted Kohl's for over 5 years.
