Alleged Discovery of ‘Real’ Mt. Sinai Could Change the Middle East Forever
Pajamas Media ^ | August 14 | Ryan Mauro

It may be the biggest archaeological discovery to date, but it is also the most dangerous. In an adventure story rivaling an Indiana Jones movie, Bob Cornuke and Larry Williams snuck into Saudi Arabia to investigate whether the Wahhabist home of Mecca and Medina is also home to one of the holiest sites in Judaism and Christianity: Mt. Sinai. They have each written page-turning books about their story. Dr. Lennart Moller, a Swedish scientist, has gone one step further, writing a must-read book full of images and scientific analysis titled The Exodus Case, which puts together the stunning evidence that the Biblical events of the Exodus are historical, not mythical.

Cornuke’s BASE Institute has released a documentary titled Search for the Real Mt. Sinai and Moller’s additional work was made into The Exodus Revealed. Now, a forthcoming documentary to be released in theaters titled The Exodus Conspiracy is being produced that will have far-reaching effects Michael Moore could only dream of.

A quick look at what has been found easily explains all the fuss....

Ok, let's just write this off as "a failure to communicate".

Better luck (to both of us) next time... ;-)

That’s how it struck me too. What’s also interesting to me is that this isn’t a new discovery. This guy has been trying to get this to the public’s attention for years apparently. Could it be he was unsuccessful until now because it wasn’t in line with God’s timing until now?

Yes, very interesting and indeed fascinating. IIRC they also recently discovered what they think is or could be King Solomon’s mines.

Well apparently they don’t want a situation that rivals the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

(You know ... disrupting the oil supply chain and all.)

Thanks FrogMom. I haven't been that impressed over the years with the level of scholarship of advocates of Sinai-in-Arabia.

Great. Now every Muslim within 500 miles will converge upon the place with sledge hammers and sticks of dynamite.
Uh.. not likely.
Muslims believe in 'The God of Abraham', they just call him 'Allah'. And Moses is one of their prophets, as is Jesus.

That is true... Buddhists are agnostics (from Greek, “not knowing”) but Buddhists are sometimes (particularly the converts I know) eclectic in their beliefs, considering themselves Buddhists, but also dabbling in other things. Buddhism had a period of wider (than today) popularity and geographic expansion, but even within India it has remained a bit of an undercurrent.

Wait, wait; don’t tell me! The Arabs have “discovered” that Mt. Saini is in Alaska, right?

Sharing of religious heritage didn't stop muslims from destroying Josephs Tomb & King Solomon's stables.

Do they consider Mt Sinai as holy a place as the Jews?

Riddle me this, SC: do the Muslims respect the Ten Commandments? I believe they revere Moses and Jesus, but what about the Big Ten?

Thanks Civ. Saw a documentary of sorts just a few weeks ago about this. Had a couple of younger guys(30 somethings) that slipped inside the perimeter with what was apparently a really smallish video camera. The images of what appears to be a “burned” mountaintop is difficult to explain in modern terms. Very neat stuff.

They don’t really revere Moses or Jesus — that’s part of the public relations a.k.a. supporting myth of the medieval fascism that is Islam. While mass-murdering the Jews of Arabia, Mohammed had the unmitigated gall to claim that he revered the redeemer of the Hebrews.
