If this abortion is passed, I’ll move to the first state that tells Obama and his Obamaloons to shove it up their collective Obamas.

Would they have the same ability to reverse or change H.R. 3200, or will we be stuck with it?

We'd be stuck. With a the czar appointments and control grabbing, Congress will soon be, if not already, irrelevant.

The major reorganizational aspects (e.g., the Health Insurance Exchange) won’t be implemented until 2013 and won’t be fully in place until 2015.

So I think we have two shots: 2010 and 2012.

But once 2013 happens, it’s over.

I think it can be reworked or repealed if passed. Why not? The rage will be enormous in 2010.

If the GOP ran on a platform to repel the healthcare bill and to eliminate the taxes that will be implemented in the next two years they will win a landslide in 2010. The problem, though, is Obama will veto any attempt to repeal those bills. We not only need a majority, we need a super majority which will be almost impossible.

I can’t think of much the government has reversed itself on aside from slavery and prohibition.

The ultimate weakness in the Obama Care bill (whichever one that might be) is that it can simply be defunded in any given year.

If it is passed we must encourage our guys to vote against any funding it needs in all future years irrespective of the disruptions that might create in the system.

Republicans may not be allowed to be forced into RINO mode where they will negotiate little more than the thickness of the rope the Democrats are using to hang us all and destroy America.

Which is to say, the Democrats have not yet figured out how to fund this POS in such a way that anyone can really get hurt if it's abolished.

Remember, even without insurance there are still doctors, nurses, hospitals, medical supplies, drugs, etc. We can survive a substantial period of disruption in payments after effective Republican resistance to totalitarianism.

Has Social Security been stopped? Has Medicaid been stopped? Has Medicare been stopped?

My question is one problem with private health insurance today is that each state has a separate Insurance Board that sets acceptable rates, coverage rules, and licenses companies to sell insurance in that state.

With the “Public Option,” is the Federal government going to abide by 50 separate State Insurance Boards’ rules? Methinks not, and yet again the Interstate Commerce Clause gets perverted even further.

That might be the day working Americans all over the country walk off the job and return if and when some move is made to square administration policies with the consent of the governed. WE are the government and the cash cow of America.

Simple answer: our fellow Americans have repeatedly demonstrated in recent decades that they are irredeemable dodos.

Passing this abomination would be symbolic of much deeper underlying problems in American society that cannot and will not ever be repaired.

If it passes, move to another country, because it will never be undone.

What is passed by a congress can be undone by a congress. Just requires a majority with stones made of brass (or the Sarah Palin equivalent).

1st Amendment: doctor/patient conversation is private and unlimited; gov’t cannot tell you who you can/can’t talk to. Gov’t cannot penalize you for NOT participating.

4th Amendment: gov’t has no business demanding, under police power threat, your health & bank info without a warrant.

You get the idea.

Those may not go into effect until then, but even if a congressional repeal was attempted, the socialist mafia would tie any attempt to remove the law from the book up in court.

I would look for several states to pass and enact binding 10th amendment sovereignty resolutions. Subsequently, they will refuse to enforce the provisions of the Act, become the most populous states in the union in short order, and the showdown between federal govt and states will ensue when the states refuse to collect and remit the tax revenues the cancerous beast demands.

If this crap passes, we should get the Republican party to insert in their party platform a

"REPEAL PROVISION"

and have them campaign on it for national office.

If the republicans take over congress, they can elect to just not fund it.
