Relatives of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, sister of President Kennedy, were summoned to a Massachusetts hospital Monday, a source close to the family told CNN.
"It's minute to minute right now," the source said.
Shriver, 88, founder of the Special Olympics, has been in the hospital for several days, her family said, and her relatives were summoned after she suffered a setback, the source said.
Some members of the family flew in to Cape Cod Hospital last week to be with Shriver, including her daughter, Maria Shriver, and her husband, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a source said earlier. She was in critical but stable condition then.

Biting tongue. No comment.
That being said, I do hope that at some point this family gets off stage.
She’ll get the BEST CARE POSSIBLE and she deserves it.
God bless her. She has done a lot in this life that I agree with. If this is her time, then may she pass peacefully.
Despite my feeling toward the politics of this family, my prayers go out to them.
She looks pretty scary in that picture, and I certainly am not a Kennedy fan, but I do admire her for one thing - starting Special Olympics. Because of that I will offer sympathy to the family.
Why doesn’t the media just leave them all alone....
She always seemed like a decent enough person. Or do you not want to wish her well because you don’t like her family?
Special Olympics will not exist when 0bamadeathcare is made law. No more fun and games! The disabled will be eliminated because their care will be too costly. They may keep a token or two around but for the mnost part, this group of citizens is history and forced abortion will be part of the picture too. A baby like Trig Palin will simply not be allowed to be born.
I’m willing to bet her own brother will use her as an example of how all Americans should have the same health care as Eunice.
She tried to do some good in this world...so god speed.
Have a talk with God while you are up there about this Obamanation and what he will do to those you tried to help...
What is the carbon footprint of having your family summoned to your bedside as you near your final moments on this earth? What happens if you manage to survive for a few more weeks or months and they go home, only to come back at a later time? Wouldn’t it be better if we could schedule this sort of thing in advance, saving medical costs as well as the cost of short-notice travel?
ObamaCare (TM) is the answer. We can schedule your termination for any time after your 50th birthday. All you have to do is sneeze, and we’ll be there with a pill.
(In case I have to say it: </Sarc>)
Speaking of offering sympathies, could whomever posted that photo be any less sympathetic? I mean, take a good hard look at that photo because that’s what the rich looked like when they got old, before plastic surgery turned them into wax freaks.
The poor woman in that photo looks like the calcified remains of one of the Titanic victims, frozen in time.
If they cremate Jabba when it's time for his dirt nap he'll likely burn for 3 or 4 weeks.
I read a similar story last week, she ain’t letting go easy. I guess when you realize you can’t take it with you...
I must say though...her hair sure looks nice!
I wonder if he would hit some critical mass threshhold and melt the core?
Well...at least she didn’t use plastic....and started a good organization....(If you can’t say anything good, don’t say anything at all....my Mom taught me.)
So how many times will she register to vote next year?
