Why doesn’t the coward just post the actual bill? Anybody that reads even part of HB 3200 can see that they’re lying through their teeth.

The site features a veritable rogue’s gallery of spokespeople to debunk “myths”. These people have scary dead eyes.
At least we now know what Cristina Romer’s been doing while the economy flounders

The Obama administration has launched a new Web site -- including an invitation for the public to tattle on any other "myths" they come across.
Man oh man.
I
"came across a myth" that definitely needs to be reported -- to someone, but for sure not the WH. However, for numerous personal reasons, I can't.
So for now I have to 'hold my powder' and it's eating me up!

Here was my "comment" to that page... I don't understand how you can print this stuff when we all have copies of the HR bill that says otherwise in BLACK AND WHITE ink! It doesn't matter what you "say". For each of the points you make, I can point at a page and line in the bill that states otherwise. Somebody isn't telling the truth ... is it you on your page or is it congress in the bill? You cannot "say" what you want with "something else' showing in the bill. Best you folks start reading that stuff in the HR version ... because the wording there makes a liar of you here. You are not helping the President's cause with this kind of activity. You must think we are all unable to read out here? Believe it or not, that skill is still taught in school.

The words of the “top aides” of NObama don’t mean a thing.
The words of the actual bill in Congress means everything.
This entire group of NObama and all his minions are consumate liars.
They cannot tell the truth about anything. They make it up as they go along.
Amazing that so many sociopaths could end up in one small area.....Washington DC.

I had a discussion with an idiot about gummit healthcare which I termed SOCIALISM.
Just like a good DUmmie, he asked if my grandmother was on Medicaid, since Medicaid is gummit run healthcare.
Of course she is. Medicaid is welfare. Welfare is help for those that cannot help themselves. After 30 years of working and paying taxes, she deserves it.
Medicaid is no different from foodstamps or any other gummit welfare. Even though welfare is disproportionatly abused by abled bodied democrats that refuse to work for a living, its a good thing for those that can’t help themselves. (elderly, disabled)
He wants free healthcare for all. OK what about everyone get on food stamps too? What about everyone get a welfare check in the mail every month?

Here’s a good rumor:
Why have mandatory counseling session for seniors every five years? It cannot really be to update your living will. The massive bureaucratic support structure is disproportionate to the “problem.”
What is the real reason? Well every 5 years each senior will receive a list of the additional life-saving treatments to which he will no longer have any legal access, not even at his own expense. Any sensible person would expect a certain amount of flipping out to occur and a the big bureaucracy would probably be needed to deliver the necessary counseling, sedatives, and strait jackets.

you guys looked at the website? i dont see anything there about spying on other people or turning people in, or even fishy stuff. am i missing something?
seems pretty tame to me, what did not see?

Everything at the site refers to Health Insurance reform, not health care reform. Why has this been changed? I thought the deal was universal health care.

In one clip, an aide to adviser Valerie Jarrett disputes the claim that health care reform will lead to "rationing." Kavita Patel says rationing already occurs in the form of private insurers determining how to fund clients' health care, but said the notion that government will interfere in health care is "laughable."
Here's what I don't get. Obamacare will mean millions of currently uninsured people will now have access to your hospitals, doctors, clinics, etc, and those hospitals, doctors, clinics, etc. will have a legal obligation to treat them.
This means that you (hard-working, insurance-paying American) will now have longer waits to get appointments or get treatment. That's rationing.
It's like here in the state of California. Everyone can go to Community College (it's called "open access"). You application is accepted, but you can't get classes because of funding cutbacks. Rationing.
Liberals think they can magically increase the demand side of the healthcare equation without increasing the supply. But hey - we'd have "universal coverage". Yay!
I'm not sure why nobody is making this same argument. If we were to redirect Federal Stimulus dollars away from stupid "green" initiatives and into training doctors, nurses and building hospitals, I may be more sympathetic to efforts to provide healthcare for everyone. But as it is now, anyone who claims that this (adding millions of people who can now request appointments at your doctors office) doesn't significantly ration health care is lying!
