If we beat this “health care” bill in the next few weeks, we cannot believe that the war is over. I am afraid that many, if not most will assume that, if the bill is killed in this session, that everything is hunky dory and that we live in a free country.

No. That is totally wrong. We don’t live in a free country now, even without this health care bill.

We have to keep the pressure on. We have to continue the fight. We have to take this country back. That means going on the offensive and stop with the decades of defensive sniveling and capitulation.

We have to be willing to get involved, talk to strangers, and run for office ourselves.

We have to roll back the tyrannical, imperial, federal government so that we can be free people again some day.

Freepers, too, will have to give up their favorite government programs and “services”. Maybe Freepers could start with disabusing themselves of the idea that paying your taxes (with a gun pointed at your head) is some sort of patriotic duty.

Freepers, like everyone else, will have to make the choice that freedom is worth “giving up” the “services” and “benefits” that have enslaved a once-free people.

Agreed , but we need a Midway, we need a solid signature victory to gather momentum and take back the message. Since 2006 we have been back on our heels, rocked back there by the likes of Bush and McCain and their RINO ways. It’s why the left is locked in the death struggle over this, and why we will prevail. We defeat this and we do the same with Cap and Tax and other key Obama initiatives. We stem the tide until 2010, and then make it legislatively impossible for Obama to get anything passed. Resign him to his executive duties and stop being the Legislator in Chief. They are scared, real scared at the ferocity at which we hit back.

You’re exactly right. Read about the “Food Safety Act” (HR 2749) and be prepared to be furious all over again. And it passed easily!

I agree with you. Many think the war is about a bill, a stimulus, a budget, this piece, that piece...

The time has come to realize this will be a long war, not a battle, but a war. It is time to decide what each of us is going to do, how we can help, and very truly where our loyalty rests.

0bama and his minions have done a very bad thing with calling out their civilian foot soldiers. He won't be able to reign them back in, nor will he really try too. Today's events and headlines are the recruitment lies for the civilian corp.

Pray for our country.
