CNN: The Senate’s second-ranking Democrat slammed recent town hall protests Sunday as organized disruptions of the democratic process.
“We have these screaming groups on either side. That isn't helpful. Let's be honest about this. Town meetings are not bean bag, I've had hundreds of them and sometimes folks get upset. And that's part of America, part of our process,” Sen. Dick Durbin told CNN’s John King on “State of the Union.”
“But this is clearly being orchestrated and these folks have instructions. They come down from a Texas lobbyist in Washington…" he said.

That's the real danger here. You'll be at the mercy of some civil servant with all the compassion of an IRS agent. God forbid if you actually have a real malpractice case can you sue the government? Yeah, you're dying of cancer and the rationing board denies you treatment, but they have an appeals process. Just fill out a form the size of a 1040 with accompanying schedules. No thanks. Right now I have a doctor I know, if I run short on a perscription he'll help me out with some samples. If I need bloodwork or something he'll know how to code it so insurance will cover it. Try reasoning with your local IRS agent about a misplaced decimal, that's what Obamacare will be.
These people live in alternate universes. Thousands of hand-made signs, every one unique and individual, is a sign of a "manufactured" protest, while identical union-printed signs indicate a "grass roots" initiative. To believe this you must have the intellect of a toadstool.
"Pay to play" when your mother's life is at stake could bring in big bucks. And anyone who thinks dems don't sell favors has been living in Podunk ...paying to play is the Chicago Way...
Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't big insurance falling in like with Zer0care along with big Pharma? I think Glenn Beck did a show on that. These companies see the writing on the wall and want a seat at the table. If this is true than the whole talking point about protests orchestrated by big insurance is CRAP. It's the old strategy of Marxists playing on the ignorance of the people and of course the MSM does NO investigation but rather they just repeat the talking point. It's no wonder people are reaching the boiling point.
Dem health care will have all the responsiveness of any bureaucracy where everyone keeps their job no matter how unhappy the customer.
Because we'll go, from being "customers who pay for a service" to “better be grateful” numbers seeking medical care.
They'll say “you don't like it - where you gonna go?”. And that's that. Take it or do without. And you better be grateful or Nurse Ratched will fly you over the cuckoo's nest... Because she has the power - and she's not putting up with any crap.

Great point there. Little Dick is my senator and I'm familiar with the way he behaves. Like most other democrats, he assumes the whole world operates by remote control, with some elite committee somewhere pre-planning everything for them. Free Citizens actually pissed at their representatives in congress are outside his cloistered experience. He is confused and doesn't know what to do. So he accuses them, in essence, of being democrats. He uses the term "teabaggers" a lot, which merely displays his utter ignorance of the entire situation. We have seen durbin crack before. His "Pol Pot and others" speech in the senate, which still hasn't been satisfactorily explained, got him in some hot water and made it necessary for him to do penance as "the veteran's advocate" in the senate to keep his job. Whatever it is we are doing, we must be doing it right. We need to keep it up, and maybe even turn up the volume a little. It isn't even on '3' yet.
