I think 0bama has stabilized. For a month now his strogly approve has hovered between 30-33% and strongly disapprove between 37-40%. His overall approval/dispproval has held around 50-50%. I think this whhere it stays.

I suspect this is how it will stay, giving 0bama almost certain re-election. You gotta understand half the people in this country will be supportive no matter what for a variety of factors:

1) White guilt. Too many white people who may disapprove of 0bama’s polices fear it’s becuase deep down inside they are recists. So to prove to themselves they are not racists, they will support 0bama and vote for him again in 2012.

2) Black guilt. Alot of black people who disapprove of 0bama’s polices will continue to voice support for him because they don’t want to turn against their own people. Or they don’t want to be labled and “Uncle Tom” or an “Oreo cookie”. So they will continue to support him and vote in large numbers to re-elect him in 2012

3) Black is cool. Alot of 18-25 year old white kids will approve of 0bama not matter what becuase the media has made it clear to them black is cool and white is lame. When you come across the young white kid speaking in black jargon, he/she is an 0bama supporter. They may not vote in 2010 becuase obama is not on the ballot, but they will vote in 2012 for the “hip and cool” black guy.

4) Democrats are “cool”. Again the same thing with the 18-25 year olds. 99.9% of the Hollywood celberties and Hip Hop artist idolized by these you people are pround and open Democrats/Liberals. They will vote for 0bama in 2012 becuase Wil-i-am and Jessica Alba told them to do so.

5) Republican are “lame”. Again another faction of younger voters will avoid Republicans like the plague and go out in big numbers to vote for 0bama becuse using terms like “balla”, “shizzle” and “down with the peeps” makes you cool and saying “you betcha” or having a southern accent makes you a lame white f**k.

So with 50-50 support in 2012 puts 0bama in a perfect spot for re-election. You have to figure the hip hop generation will come out in droves again to vote for hip, black President. With ACORN and SIEU stuffing ballot boxes and intimdating middle aged white voters, I’s say 0bama is guarentted a re-election similar to the 2008 results.

Sadly, I think 0bama is here to stay.

++++++++++++

Some good points - but there is growing furious anger at his socialist policies - and at the least a growing awareness. I think he loses ground in 2010 and is certainly vulnerable in 2012. Plus any of his ‘packages’ that actually get implemented will prove disaster for the economy. That will further hurt him, the further he gets away from his Linus safety blanket of kicking Pres. Bush. What an IDIOT truly we have in our WH and what dim bulb IDIOTs truly we have controlling the Houses of Congress.

He’s sunk down to 50-50 after 6 months. In another 42 months people are going to be looking for some real Hope and Change.

I predict he tanks big time as unemployment continues to rise, and when the liberal nerds posting at Slashdot are groveling for a job at WalMart — that’s when Obama really gets booted out hard.

Not so sure yet. Consider the dynamics of fad-ism. Shooting stars wane. People like Bams wear out their welcome. The unknown in the equation is what will fill the vacuum. Thinking about this, the young hipsters of today will be staring at a bleak reality painted in the colors of the actual, tangible results of their perception-driven popular culture married, by their choice, to actual policy-making. They will be forced into the consideration: "You know, things were pretty shizzle before. I was down with it. Maybe mom and dad, grandpa and grandma was right."
