Rude MSNBC Host Attacks Peter Schiff 8/6/09 On The Ed Show

... Americans in vast numbers are abandoning cable news networks because of stunts like this. Throughout the interview the host badgers and belittles Schiff who is barely able to open his mouth before the host interrupts him again.

I think I posted a link to that YouTube clip myself. I noted at the time Bernanke was nervous and twitchy and was obviously lying to Congress. Also noted the chambers were almost empty on the representative side. Helicopter Ben showed up with lots of supporters, though.

Lying liars ought to be arrested and marched in bright orange jumpsuits in front of a hanging judge.

Today in America being right in forecasting what has and will happen with the economy means nothing. You most set the right tone and you must not make the annotated look like stupid fools. Peter Schiff does both. He comes up with sound, reasoned forecasts that prove correct. He does this by not paying an deference to the happy talk crowd in government and the media. Then he has the never to think that because he was right he should get credit for it!

It is no longer about being right. It is about being in the right group. Anyway the interview had only one purpose as far as MSNBC was concerned. To give Dodd a sound bite for a TV spot.

O’Donnell is all of those things. I can never forget his hateful, extended and over the top rant against the Swift Boat Veteran leader. He kept shouting “Liar” and just went berserk/crazy on air. Yet they keep booking him. He is clearly unbalanced.

I sent a donation to Schiff’s campaign last night, then I emailed the Ed Show to thank them for making me aware that Schiff was considering running.

I informed them of my donation and told them I was looking forward to having a fully functional brain in the government. I also said they might want to try hiring one to interview future guests.
