About 200 people, many members of the so called "tea party" movement in St. Louis, held a peaceful protest outside the offices of the Service Employees International Union Saturday, demanding an apology after a fracas at a town hall meeting in South County Thursday night. A fist fight broke out outside a senior care forum held by Representative Russ Carnahan at Bernard Middle School. People on both sides of the health care reform issue showed up at the rally. And one individual claims he was beaten by members of the SEIU. There were six arrests.

I don’t know, I’m not that crazy about Obama as the Joker.
Dont waste time with asking for an apology. File a civil rights lawsuit against the unions, community organizers and the socialist politicians involved regarding violation of the First Amendment rights to peacably assemble and petition the government. Do legal discovery on the goon squads and how they are controlled by the Obama socialists. Make results into a documentary and put it on TV / YouTube.
I agree very good idea....but perhaps wait and put all
video’s together and then file a class action suite.
I think it’s better to go to court together, one strong
law suite vs. many little ones)
Without casting the light of day on the perps, by the time the lawsuits settle, this incident will be forgotten by all but a few. (OK I've used my idiom quota for today!)
You are exactly right that it will be reported the way the State-Run Media wants to report it.
When the Left does something wrong, both sides are equally to blame. They’re all about redistributiin’, donchaknow, especially when it benefits them.
I’m glad I was.
Would that be the former Green Party candidate Rev. Elston McCowan who had announced his candidacy for Mayor of the City of St. Louis (in 2008?)? The one who lead a march in protest of "Israels excessive bombing of the Gaza Strip"?
See this page and this page from google's cache.
(I didn't have the courage to try the guy's facebook page or any of the other pages that come back to a search on "Elston McCowan", including an endorsement by socialistorganizer.org and a myspace video - after all, you never know what you might catch by going to such places)
I was there. It was peaceful, but people are quite angry. Ken Gladney was there and, yes, in a wheelchair. He now has my pen because so many people wanted him to sign things for them and express their anger at what was done to him.
He is a slighter man than even he appeared on tv.
The SEIU people were taking pictures of the crowd from their second floor office. I’m sure it was just for keepsakes.
It was a great bunch of people, as is always the case at things like this. Hot as he— here today.
Wish I’d known. Would have loved to meet you.
I would sue that dirt bags union.
.........and the arms of the other goons as well. They're tough when in packs but when by themselves, they can be had.
I don’t trust the news media to actually report the news.
And again, when the police show up on the video, one of the guys in an SEIU teeshirt starts holding his shoulder.
Odds are they went after the smallest guy in the area.
Guess it would be too much to hope that - if his shoulder is actually hurt - the video shows him hurting his shoulder when he threw the punch that knocked Gladney to the ground.
The inventive minds of corrupt individuals never ceases to amaze me.
LOVE your tagline!! Can I borrow it?
I would be honored...
That’s alright...I think it fits well...and it started, appropriately enough as I understand, in the spanish areas of LA.
Thanks for standing up for the good guys today!
I love the “Joker” posters. I’d like to see the title “ché Messiah” over the face.
My pleasure. You’re the role model :)
