How Come Conservative Health Care Protesters Are Thugs, But Liberal...
KXMC ^ | 8/4/2009

Remember when the media lionized Cindy Sheehan and her fellow anti-war Code Pink protesters as they protested the war with tactics like disrupting multiple State of the Union addresses? The President’s inauguration? Hearings and public events too numerous too mention?

And I’m sure you’ve all seen news reports about union groups and other liberal activists storming the campaign offices of Republicans and things like that. It happens all the time.

It’s interesting to watch those same media types who seemingly have no problems with liberal activists harassing Republicans cluck their tongues derisively when Democrats are confronted by angry constituents at home who think they’ve going too far on issues like the “stimulus” and health care. At the link above a Rachel Maddow segment entitled “thug life” is detailed in which she suggests that conservatives are just trying to “shout down” liberals on health care.

That might be true if those doing the shouting were showing up at speeches and causing disruption (as so many on the left have done), but a constituent showing up at a town hall and giving his/her representation in Congress an earful? Isn’t that kind of how this whole “democracy” and “will of the people” thing is supposed to work?

I don’t think much gets done by shouting at politicians and calling them names, but on the same note it’s had not to blame some of these people for being angry. And the claims about the outspoken dissent at these town hall meetings being little more than “astroturf” coordinated by paid political operatives rings about as hollow as the same claims made about the tea parties.

Americans are righteously pissed off. It may be convenient to write in the newspaper or speak to the television camera about how it’s all just sideshow ginned up by Republicans to muddy the waters, but those evasions are only going to work for so long.

I actually think that if these media types bothered to talk to some of the people showing up at these town hall meetings they probably wouldn’t have very nice things to say about Republicans either. There is a “kick the bums out” attitude in America right now. The liberals ignore it at their own peril.

"Every good movement in the history of the world has been led by an infinitesimal minority . . . the perfect example, Jesus of Nazareth. Edmund Burke wrote, 'How often has public calamity been arrested on the very brink of ruin by the seasonable energy of a single man?' Just a few - ONE - is enough." - Dr. Leonard Read, Foundation for Economic Education

It has been said that "One Man Plus Truth Is An Army."

Never underestimate the POWER OF ONE . . . .

This fact may be why the zealots on the Far Left are so intimidated by one person speaking truth at a TEA Party, and they are terrified when one authentic lady speaks truth before a crowd of thousands!

“I want you to argue with them and get in their face,”-Barrack Obama

I’m just following what our president has said, we as citizens, should do when confronted by people who don’t agree with our conservative viewpoint.

Further confirmation that Maddow is on the DNC's talking points fax list.

He’s tombstone bait. Libs hate nothing more than having their own double-standards pointed out.

They use Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” tactics, which are intimidate, humiliate, ridicule, argue, etc, etc, etc....

Marxist playbook:
And when deceiving the people, always promise the opposite, so they don’t know what’s happening, disseminate propaganda and propagandists (like left news media, ACORN and other moonbats.

And how about those stupid bumper stickers:

DISSENT IS THE HIGHEST FROM OF PATRIOTISM

Liberals are all about "choice" until you choose differently than them.
