Is Paul McCartney secretly a Dittohead?
The 60,000 fans attending a recent concert at FedExField in Baltimore must have thought so.
The former Beatle dedicated the performance of the song he co-wrote with John Lennon, Michelle, to the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.
I love you, I love you, I love you. That's all I want to say, McCartney crooned following his dedication.
Long before the McCartney fawning, though, while her husband was still a candidate radio talk show host extraordinaire Rush Limbaugh gave Mrs. Obama the moniker Michelle, My Belle, a take off on the Fab Four tune.
Being part of the entertainment biz, McCartney predictably was a backer of Michelles spouse during the 2008 campaign and even told People magazine he wanted to sing to Michelle someday.
The first lady was not present to hear the McCartney serenade because she and the president were away on one of their multiple vacations, this time at Camp David.
An unsubstantiated rumor is floating around that when a recording of the concert performance is played backwards, it mysteriously repeats the words, El Rushbo, El Rushbo, El Rushbo.

Perfect!
It’s too bad that for some seniors, common sense is the first thing to go.
Sheesh... “Ebony and Ivory” is such an eyerollingly bad song....
Uglier than Eleanor Roosevelt? No way.
No kidding. KOOKOOKACHOO
Friday night arrives with bulging suitcase
Sunday morn you're back on Air Force One
Monday's just a fund-raising loot chase
See how he runs...
Somnt des mots qui vot tres bien ensemble....
Paul is getting as fruity as that old POS Prince Charles.
I have no idea how to post a picture but here is a link to a picture of Eleanor Roosevelt.
Eleanor was a beauty compared to michelle. (almost everyone is ugly when they get old, look at young eleanor pictures)
As long as are on the shallow subject of looks, Mamie Eisenhower was no raving beauty.
LOL
I had forgot about Mamie! WOW she was a dog.
This doesn’t make any sense to me. I thought that Paul McCartney was president X’s mom.
McCartney seems like a pretty shallow guy; his music since the breakup of the Beatles has been characterized by relentless vapidity. As for Michelle Obama, her looks are average at best, and her default facial expression seems to be a twisted-mouth sneer. As for her wardrobe, if Sara Palin dressed in garish, expensive designer outfits and wore $500 sneakers to a poverty benefit, the press would have crucified her.
Pretty good lyrics.
Took the words right out of my mouth, er keyboard.
They all went vapid after the break up. Seems that freewheeling “bohemians” are the most conforming types of all, gotta go with the hip flow no matter what. And when they get into power, as per now, then conforming becomes law, and they do not tolerate the dissent and rebellion they so loudly demanded before.
Adolph Hitler started as a bohemian artist selling water colors on the street in Vienna. I rest my case.
As much as I love the Beatles - the only one that was worth their salt after the breakup was John. Paul essentially without John was a “ditty” writer and if you listen to Say, Say Say, Silly Love Songs, Listen to what the Man said, Ebony and Ivory - the list goes on and on. I just never could get into his music and what is interesting is that John Lennon brought out the best in him and his talent. Today, McCartney doesn’t mean nothing to me - I think he is a lonely, sad man looking for companionship. Wishing him the best!
We went.
Awww, I bet Paul was crushed. Concert not sold out, and no Michelle in the audience. What a bummer. Guess the glory days are over for both! No one wanted to come to see either of them, (just in case Michelle might show up).
And in Baltimore, where the majority are Obama supporters - why, what was the problem? The problem was...no one was handing our free tickets, and the city with a huge welfare population has residents who have become accustomed to their "entitlements." Paul should have called ACORN to fill the seats.
As to the Obama's on vacation - Again - well, the welfare recipients don't mind...after all, they understand the "Not working," lifestyle. It is their right.
