Sorry, I don’t have the time to address all of your issues and questions. My purpose in posting #948 was to stop you from claiming that the original 1963 constitution referred to Kenya as a Republic when apparently it did not. (In general, I don’t like to see persons posting inaccurate information. Just a pet peeve of mine, I suppose.)

I see. There are two versions linked below. The earlier version, apparently circa 12-1963 (based on dates in the text of the document), that doesn’t refer to ‘Republic’ and a later version, which is dated 1963 in the title, and which *does* refer to ‘Republic.’ My very clear question is when did the second document, without its amendments, get written? It seems logical that since it was dated 1963, it was originally written in 1963 - something of a second draft. I’m speculating, of course, and I asked others their opinion - still allowed by you?
