Wis. jury: Father guilty in prayer death case

WAUSAU, Wis. – A central Wisconsin man accused of killing his 11-year-old daughter by praying instead of seeking medical care was found guilty Saturday of second-degree reckless homicide.

Dale Neumann, 47, was convicted in the March 23, 2008, death of his daughter, Madeline, from undiagnosed diabetes. Prosecutors contended he should have rushed the girl to a hospital because she couldn't walk, talk, eat or drink. Instead, Madeline died on the floor of the family's rural Weston home as people surrounded her and prayed. Someone called 911 when she stopped breathing.

(snip)

Neumann, who once studied to be a Pentecostal minister, testified Thursday that he believed God would heal his daughter and he never expected her to die. God promises in the Bible to heal, he said.

"If I go to the doctor, I am putting the doctor before God," Neumann testified. "I am not believing what he said he would do."

Seems like he’s very close or over the line of the criteria for

A FULL BLOWN NUT OBSESSION.

Those can get ugly.

I hope his mommy doesn’t catch him fondling nuts of all kinds . . . filberts, walnuts, peanuts, . . . with some obsessive cheezy grin on his face indicating that ecstasy has struck again with each obsessive caress.

I can see it now . . . mummy had to sew him his special LBNP—(Linus Blanket Nut Pouch) for him to carry his comfort treasures around his neck close to his heart in. I wonder if he prefers to fondle them shelled or unshelled. From the looks of the pics, it’s unshelled.

Mummy probably has to steal it while he has his afternoon nap so she can wash it.

LOL.

Ahhhh...you can’t talk about me without a courtesy ping. That would be wrong and a violation of protocol. We wouldn’t want that would we?

I suppose nut.

Though I had no doubt you’d review my pontifications.

Besides . . . I’m kind of talking generically in terms of general sorts of cases where folks give evidence of obsessive tendencies by posting repeatedly pictures of one thing.

Mostly I’m just having fun being silly on a Sunday afternoon before my nap.

Oh...and I don’t need an afternoon nap but apparently you do:

I’m surprised since you’re unemployed and likely living off the public dole that you don’t have more energy.

It could be that the Holy Spirit is moving believers in that direction if something like that is occurring to us all at the same time.

Out of the blue a little while ago I got the idea that Yahweh might be healing many people through Christians laying on hands during the impending health care system failure.

It would be a great demonstration of His Mercy, Power, Glory, and Lovingkindness. It would also bring Him tons of Thanks and Praise. And it would lead a lot of lost sheep right to Him in no time flat.

Doesn’t the Bible say something about: in the end times, the Children of God will do greater things as the Sons of Satan do more evil.

I didn’t think much of it since then, but hearing that other believers have also had the same thought starts to give me pause.

Thanks for the joy of your being utterly wrong yet again.

Nope. Not off the public dole. Mostly retired. Teach normal school year part time.

My guess is that you’ve been judging people rigidly, narrowly, harshly, emphatically, derisively, dismissively, haughtily a very long time.

I would guess further that some of the reaping of all that horrid sowing has begun to accrue in your life in spades. And, that you have no clue where all the trouble’s coming from nor why.

I would further hazardously hypothesize that your father but could have been mother or both . . . were similar harsh judges of others.

It’s often fascinating to see how such junk travels down through families.

But don’t worry that I’m saying you are unemployed. I mean it’s possible you are just a bum sucking off the taxpayers but I find far more likely that you lost your license to practice or that your license from BFE University wasn’t accredited.

Haha, FANTASTIC!

“Though I had no doubt you’d review my pontifications.”

Artemis is totally narcissistic for attention, *any* attention. He doesn’t care if you use him for a fire hydrant, just so long as you post to him!

Goodness!

What a horrific hypocritical travesty!

You consider yourself brilliant enough, informed enough and trained enough to judge someone a nut

and don’t have a clue about their sleeping habits EITHER!

Amazing the cheek some folks walk around with these days.

My sleep habits have been posted hereon for years and years.

Oh, that’s right, deep and wide cluelessness knows no bounds. My error.

I should probably warn you . . .

given that I’ve served ample notice that those hostile to folks I cherish as fellow Christians rarely get a free pass from me . . .

this exchange will likely become quite a lot MORE unattractive before too much longer.

At which time, I’ll turn my attentions and bother to other priorities.

You’ll likely have to find some other target to flatter your ego with their responses.

“But don’t worry that I’m saying you are unemployed.”

Artemis said to the reflection in his monitor...

“I mean it’s possible you are just a bum sucking off the taxpayers..”

Wow, don’t be so hard on yourself!

“...but I find far more likely that you lost your license to practice...”

You don’t need a license to work at the Planter’s factory. Calm down, it will be OK. They will let you stay if you keep pushing the broom away from you.

“...that your license from BFE University wasn’t accredited.”

Remember, AWAY from you. Not towards. And, I didn’t know you got your Nutology degree from BFEU! But if you ask me, you should really ask for your money back.
