Cash for clunkers program is car genocide
Washington Examiner ^ | 07-28-2009 | Kiki Ryan and Jeff Dufour

LaHood sounded a bit vicious in explaining the process, describing it as essentially a “murdering” of the car.

After a deal is made with a car dealership, sodium silicon is poured onto the car, the engine then fogs, and is towed away, he explained.

“The car is dead,” LaHood said. “We kill the car.”

The "cash for clunkers" law specifically states that the cost savings aren’t considered income for the buyer and are not subject to federal income taxes. But the situation is a less clear for dealers, who are worried that they may have to pay income tax on any money they receive under the program.

That’s the idea, he is trying to get all large vehicles off the road. Heck, in 10 years we may be back to horse and buggy.

It's not just cars. They don't want us to use energy either.

The point of this program is NOT to get inefficient vehicles off the road - it’s far more sinister than that.

The real purpose is to get all the vehicles off the road that are not GPS equipped and RFID tagged.

WHY? .....for the same reason that they want to tag YOU.

......WHY?......

To salvage the union jobs now on the line at GM and Chrysler. Without the program, their sales would be inadequate to permit viability.

GPS paranoia should be trumped by a conservative hatred for unions.

Talked to my grandson on his lunch break and he said they are not sanding out the engines at this point. He is a technician and not fully versed on the gimmicks but pretty much confirmed the MPG thing.

Here is some disturbing news for buyers and dealers The Government is not here to Help You

"Actually I believe reprocessing metal scrap is much cheaper than mining ore. "

That is the case. But, it would make more sense to "mine" the millions of rusting wrecks blighting the landscapes in junkyards, rather than to destroy functioning vehicles.

Yeah, I know -- that wouldn't send a tingle up the legs of the green weenies, nor would it send baksheesh to Øbammy's union thug buddies...
