Interesting facts about Casey; he hit the first home runs in both the new Ebbet's Field and the new Yankee Stadium, but they were in pre-season games. He also was apparently one of the fastest guys in the game for his time.

I knew that die-hard Stengel fans would remember and apply that particular quote. And yes, it does apply to the current administration. The whole quote, of the 1983 Mets, was, “You look up and down the bench and you have to ask yourself, ‘Can't anyone here play this game?’”
