“the Earth has been cooling, not warming, for seven years and counting now”
What do you mean, seven years? Peak temperature was reached in 1998. Perhaps it warmed and cooled intermittently between ‘98 and ‘02, and went downhill from there. But I think the ten or eleven year figure is more important than the seven.
I keep asking myself - how a guy can be so loose with his lip and be trusted as our president? Pure arrogance, I guess.
I’ve heard estimates as high as 35 million Mexicans, which seems more realistic than 17. Of course, that was before the downturn. I walked into a local KFC a few weeks ago, and was amazed that all the workers there looked and sounded like high-school kids who spoke English as the first language. Maybe the number is down to 17 million now.
"Can't anyone here play this game?"
Sounds like a comment on the current administration.
Arrogant, self-absorbed, self-righteous, racist blacks like Gates have learned over the past several decades that they can trample on whites and force them to back down simply by being black, loud and convincingly oppressed. Facts don’t matter. Those with the class of a Gates will play this “bonus race card” to the hilt at every opportunity. And why, as whites, should we be surprised? Who let them get by with it in the first place?
not even ‘ashes and sackcloth’ will save the liberal and marxist bastards that infest this nation when their time is come.
and Yes, I remember Casey.
He taught Yogi BeRRa everything he never knew and more, right?
GreeTings FRom the Left Coast where we finally have a state budget in California, sort of.. :-)
Obama is the present day Marv Throneberry.
He’s also remembered for “Can’t anyone here play this game?”
Great advice about how one handles encounters with the police that they initiate. I have tried to impart the message to my boys and the CPD/Gates incident is yet another teaching moment.
An interesting youtube entry that is on topic here:

Ah yes, as a Tiger fan in the late 50’s and 60’s I remember Casey with a great amount of admiration and a tad bit of disdain.
