Leadership: Our new science czar, John Holdren, once backed compulsory sterilization and forced abortion as part of a government population-control program. The only thing missing was a Soylent Green recipe.
In April, President Obama declared that "the days of science taking a back seat to ideology are over." In everything from stem cell research to climate change and energy policy, reason and science would triumph. The problem is that what the Obama administration considers science, as exemplified by the choice of Holdren, is troubling. In a recently rediscovered 1977 book, "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment," co-authored with doomsters Paul and Anne Ehrlich, Holdren, who holds the post of presidential assistant for science technology, revealed his pessimistic and apocalyptic views on all three topics. They are disturbing.
He hates people and views them as the root of all planetary evils. Large families are a target of Holdren and the Ehrlichs, who write that they "contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children" and "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility."
On page 837, Holdren writes "it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society."
Overproducing children? On the next page, Holdren asserts that "neither the Declaration of Independence nor the Constitution mentions a right to reproduce." He missed that part about life being an inalienable right.

This sham of a takeover of the American government by radical anti-American Marxists no longer is hidden. I guess the gutless liberal nutcases of the Congress are loving this, because they can always blame a czar for all the bad things they have planned for America and its REAL citizens.

maybe he better turn his thoughts to the muslims who are reproducing far in excess of Americans. We are aborting while they are producing terrorists!
To: Kaslin
So the constitution doesn’t give a right to reproduce, but does give a woman a right to an abortion. Where does Obama find these “intellectuals”, at the crackhouse?

I want compulsory sterilization for left wing liberals

Where does Obambi find these lunatics? Why do we need czars? Those lunatics have been warming up in the Democrat bullpen at least since the Communist civil war with America of the 1960s. They succeeded in taking and occupying the media, academia, much of the permanent Federal bureaucracy and many other essential institutions.
Obama needs Czars to bully past our now-feeble Democratic legislative processes and force his totalitarian programs on us before too many realize what's happening. The majority of legislators refuse to do the hard job of legislating anyhow, so are happy to let them take over. Many "legislators" are there only for the power, the graft and the perks.
And once Zero and his henchmen enshrine Sotomayor on the SCOTUS, we're one Judge away from what is euphemistically called "soft tyranny."

Reproduction is not mentioned in the Constitution, therefore it must be a privilege, granted by the government, and not a Right. [/sarc][/cynic]

RE: "Every 'Czar' that Obama is appointing is someone with powers outside of the constitutional mandate. He is developing and inner cadre of very powerful positions, without Congressional oversight, who are loyal and responsible only to him."
It's called czar and fettering.

The democrats are on their way to kill off the elderly and anyone else they deem undesirable. I hope the senior citizens have been stocking up on ammo and keeping their trigger finger in shooting shape. They might get a knock on the door from a government Nazi who thinks their medication and health care are costing the government too much money. The democrats can lower the costs of medicare and still receive the votes from the elderly citizens they euthanize. They are also working on a way to force the dead to make campaign contributions to the democrat party.
