Just back from weekend at Bernies in DC.
The Obama machine is beginning to leak.
Obama's political henchmen now privately admit that an unpassed Obamacare bill will never survive past the August congressional recess. They know every member, particularly Dems from the House side and swishy R on the Senate side, will be bombarded with negative comments about Obamacare from most people back in their Districts.
They admit that the next two weeks are critical to getting it passed, and are very worried about another phone blitz such as killed some other nefarious legislation in the past.
Spread the word. Call every Congresscritter and Senator. Be respectful but make it clear that there will be no peace in the land (politically) if this monstrosity passes.
Call them now, call them all, call all the district offices and DC offices. The numbers are listed on their web pages. E-mail is nowhere as effective as a phone call. Call them again and again.
As one female member said this afternoon, "After being in favor of the national healthcare plan at first, I’ve come to my senses and decided I don't want Dr. Acorn to be my gynecologist! " (And she is a Dem!)
If we kill this plan, we reveal Obama to be a very empty suit, and blank teleprompter.
There was protests outside congressional offices around the country on Friday — though you would not know it from the media, I only happened on all the pictures and threads through Instapundit.. so they know they don’t care, they have forgotten who they work for and are used to people just voting them back in year after year after year.
I think 0’s trying to cram as much through as it can before he’s forced to produce Constitutional qualifications.

I have heard, but have not seen it proven, that “they” HAVE to keep faxes. And I have never failed to get a response (form response, sure, but a response nonetheless).
I also harbor the fantasy that the staffers put the best faxes into a pile for the congresscritter to read.

Yes indeedy it is imperative we work as diligently as possible to ensure this alleged healthcare legislation goes nowhere.
We need to stop it for many reasons, as well we need to show Obama is not the GOD he thinks he is. Defeat will cause him to retaliate as that is what he does, but if we defeat him in this, then we have the numbers to stop him in retaliation as well I would believe.

I told off the manager of my post office on Friday since the people who deliver the mail can’t follow instructions not to leave mail when I’m not home. It’s written on my mail box and it was written on the box they tried to deliver.
They are morons. And the manager admitted they are morons.

Ignore the generic letter. These staffers keep track of phone calls, and tally the number of calls, pro and con, on key issues. Call them, call them, call them. They need to know we're paying attention and will hold them accountable.
Opponents will face an uphill battle.
al Obami is going on the road for the next two weeks to pre-empt the August recess. It will be an all out press to pass Socialized Medicine up to the last day.
The plan is to hit two, three, four cities a day and fill newscasts with many sound bites.
There will be many FaceBook and YouTube ad. Twitters and e mails every hour.
The DNC will run TV and radio ads in selected Dem districts just like it is an election.

Funny, even though Holdren wanting to sterilize and impose a one child policy and the eugenic minded Daschle and Ezekiel bro didn’t get to them (neither does stoning, hanging and rape), I think this will get NOW, NARAL and Planned Parenthoods attention... their clients could be next.
