Just back from weekend at Bernies in DC.
The Obama machine is beginning to leak.
Obama's political henchmen now privately admit that an unpassed Obamacare bill will never survive past the August congressional recess. They know every member, particularly Dems from the House side and swishy R on the Senate side, will be bombarded with negative comments about Obamacare from most people back in their Districts.
They admit that the next two weeks are critical to getting it passed, and are very worried about another phone blitz such as killed some other nefarious legislation in the past.
Spread the word. Call every Congresscritter and Senator. Be respectful but make it clear that there will be no peace in the land (politically) if this monstrosity passes.
Call them now, call them all, call all the district offices and DC offices. The numbers are listed on their web pages. E-mail is nowhere as effective as a phone call. Call them again and again.
As one female member said this afternoon, "After being in favor of the national healthcare plan at first, I’ve come to my senses and decided I don't want Dr. Acorn to be my gynecologist! " (And she is a Dem!)
If we kill this plan, we reveal Obama to be a very empty suit, and blank teleprompter.
That magnificent bastard Carl Rove said the same thing on Hannity.
“Do you want the people who run Amtrak to take out your appendix?”
They reply with a generic form letter.
Right now, I’m looking for them to sneak through a scaled down Camel’s Nose Healthcare Act with a lot of fill in the blanks. The Commies want this bad. They need it to gain total control of the “unwashed masses”.

I have an uncle who lives in a district represented by a Dem who won his seat by a narrow margin. The guy is already feeling heavy pressure for his vote on Cap and Tax. He is likely going to lose in 2010.
I propose the following slogan(s) to toss out there:
“Just Say NO to Dr. Obama!”
NO to Obamacare!
No to DMV-Style Obamacare!
No Taxpayer-Funded Healthcare to 15 million illegals!!!
I Want MY Doctor, Not Dr. Obama!
Obamacare Will Kill the Elderly AND Babies!
No Insurance = You’re a Criminal, under Obamacare!
Get the word out. Now is the 7th inning stretch. 2 weeks to go.
The trick is to make so many calls no one can get through!
Remember, they can discard faxes and erase emails. Someone has to talk to you in a phone call!

Use this link to get telephone numbers. I tried the main switchboard last week and it was busy, busy, busy. I used this link and got their direct numbers in DC and in my home state. Staffers are rude and arrogant; beware!!! Remind them that they were sent to DC to “represent” their constituents. They have forgotten that minor detail. The God-like complex and the overall arrogance of their boss has rubbed off on them. Seems to be a disease in DC.

If Congress Critters in TN entertain this thought of voting yes, they are done for.
I don’t get it. Obama’s people know this isn’t popular. But the Congress critters don’t know already that it won’t be popular in their districts. They won’t know people hate Obamacare until they go home? They all have offices in their districts that take phone calls. They have to know how the calls are running.
No, the rush is to pass it before enough people read it to know how bad it really is.
Call their dc offices and their local offices and GO TO THEIR LOCAL OFFICES. Be respectfull, but remind them that they have to be re-elected and if they betray us, we will ruin them. Simple as that.
